Buddhist teacher Thich Nhat Hanh was asked by one of his pupils: “Sir, what is the most important thing we can do for the healing of our world?" He replied “the most important thing we can do for the healing of our world is to hear, within ourselves, the sounds of the Earth crying."
Joanna Macy and John Seed harp on similar concepts, that "the rainforest is defending itself through humanity", that human activists are the rainforest defending itself. This song was inspired by the work of these philosophers and these important concepts. How do we practice them?

Well Einstein said that God does not play dice with the universe; But if the location of a particle is indeterminable at a given moment and the particle is only there if we observe it then is the whole world just a simulation and we’re just at the mercy of your silly little game of dice??
GOD: hold— one moment please, I’m getting an incoming message from Gabriel
GABRIEL: God, hey God, sorry to interrupt but it was urgent
The humans have gotten too far! They’ve reached the quantum level! That’s as far as we built! They’re gonna find us out! What should we do??
GOD: It’s a shame the first flood didn’t teach them, I guess it’s time for another crucible…
GOD:  so tell me, ignorant mortal, how do you know about quantum physics?
ME: I did what I was not supposed to, I looked beyond your teachings, I questioned things and used science to find out more about the world.
