My debut at @thenakedteaparty. It was a very special and personal journey for me that I cherish with all my heart.

In this most intimate of spaces, here I am, performing naked, surrounded by naked bodies, flowers and tea cups. And it feels beautifully vulnerable, heart-opening and so authentic. I am melting with joy. 

It was so touched by the lovely response of the participants of this beautiful one of a kind event and the seemingly effortless flow of the Naked Tea Party Festival. After my set I swam in the lake under the moonlight and I cried tears of joy for being so so lucky to be able to share my art in such wonderful spaces.

I am a multidisciplinary artist who creates sound journeys as a DJ while also telling stories as a reporter for CNN. My style is ever-evolving, often weaving together deep organic house, tribal Afro rhythms, and psychedelic acid basslines, infused with mystical tones, world beats, and sacred ceremony sounds. My sets are an offering—a transmission from Spirit that flows through my heart, into yours, and out into the world.

Music has always been my medicine, and the dance floor remains the place where I feel most alive and at home. I discovered my love for electronic music in New York City’s 1990s underground rave scene. As a Russian immigrant who fled the collapse of the Soviet Union, I finally found a place where I belonged—raves offered a sense of community and taught me the healing power of dance. Much to my parents’ disappointment, I never grew out of it.

My sound is shaped by more than a decade of living and traveling the globe as a foreign correspondent. I am deeply inspired by many of the cultures I’ve explored, but years of reporting from conflict zones like Afghanistan, Iraq, and Yemen took a heavy mental toll. Once again, music became my path to healing, growth, and transformation. Dance and sacred medicine work helped me overcome PTSD and reconnect with my authentic self—a gift I now seek to share with others.

While balancing the demands of a full-time TV reporter job, I’ve been honored to perform at transformational gatherings such as Colours of Love in Thailand, Burning Man, Rhythm Sanctuary Ecstatic Dance, and other intimate events. As a journalist, I often find myself on the frontlines of humanity’s most painful moments, but DJing allows me to create moments of love, joy, and healing in the here and now.
