Landing with an almighty bass bin rumbling on Sprechen is another northern musical disciple from around our way. Kiaki has been a regular visitor to many a Sprechen and Sticky Heat social and defo knows his onions when it comes to rocking the discotheques. With previous releases on Me Me Me and the likes of Erol Alkan giving hi props its with a mega vibe that we welcome him to the label!

Northern Solar is a straight up, lost in the sweat & smoke kind of club track. Hypnotic and hooky with its relentless pulsating low end thud & rumbles accompanied by synth stabs and squelches a like. One for the mutant acid militia…

The 2nd helping comes in the form of ‘And Then Some’. Slower paced and stripped back allowing for a more infectious groove to take over. But still packing bags of electronic drama. Perfect ‘transition track’ for when you need to flip things up a notch (or 2). Kind of peaky but not too much, what we like to call at Sprechen as a ‘subtle banger’.

Following the hypnotic pulse of his acclaimed album El Hijo del Maiz, released through Lumière Noire Records, which introduced the original version of "Bo Ni Ke," Mexican DJ/producer Iñigo Vontier returns with Bo Ni Ke Remixes, an EP that reimagines one of his most captivating tracks. Released through the boundary-pushing Mexican imprint Duro Label, this collection breathes new life into "Bo Ni Ke" with four dynamic reinterpretations from Musumeci, Moisees and two new version from Vontier.

Leading the charge is a mesmerizing remix by Italian Musumeci, who infuse the track with their signature blend of deep, cosmic grooves and ethereal textures, taking "Bo Ni Ke" on an acid journey. Moisees, co-founder of Duro Label, delivers a remix that amplifies the track's hypnotic essence, layering infectious rhythms with a raw, underground energy that resonates on dancefloors. Rounding out the EP, Iñigo Vontier himself presents his "Unwanted" Remix, showcasing his evolving sound with a darker, more psychedelic twist that delves deeper into his experimental roots.

Closing the EP is the Ketamine Version, a stripped-down, hallucinatory rendition that deconstructs the original into its most primal sonic elements. This version explores the track's core rhythmic structure, distorting and reshaping it into a swirling, immersive soundscape, designed for late-night introspection and altered states of consciousness.

Bo Ni Ke Remixes stands as a testament to Iñigo Vontier's fearless approach to electronic music, blending cultural influences with forward-thinking production. Each remix offers a unique perspective while honoring the original's mystique, solidifying "Bo Ni Ke" as a track that transcends boundaries and continues to evolve. Iñigo Vontier’s “Bo Ni Ke Remixes” will be available starting April 11, 2025.

Radondo’s Chance EP — with Kay-Chi remix out on 6th August — features two standout tracks, “Doubt” and“Leather,” which perfectly capture his signature dark sound, weaving together his Italo, EBM, and New Beat influences with finesse.

We’re thrilled to welcome one of our truly favourite producers to the label once again: Kay-Chi. He brings his signature fast, chug-infused sound to his interpretation of Leather. Yet again, he’s delivered another masterpiece, adding to the growing body of work on the label and continuing to be an integral part of the Volition family.

Radondo - Leather (Kay-Chi Remix) [Volition]

Mexican label Duro Label is preparing for a new sonic journey with the return of one of its most cherished figures, Madrid's Álvaro Cabana. His new EP, "Indian Prototype", is an exploration of rhythms rooted in the wisdom of groove and the most influential sounds of the nineties and two thousands, without yielding an ounce to nostalgia.

Álvaro Cabana, an active figure in the Madrid electronic scene since the late '90s and owner of the Rotten City label (home to artists like Red Axes, Curses, Eden Burns, and DC Salas), delivers an EP that stands as a testament to his fidelity to his roots and his constant evolution.

The journey kicks off with "Proto", a track imbued with an early progressive essence. Deep basslines intertwine with expansive melodies and solid rhythms, creating psychedelic atmospheres that invite you into an introspective, mysterious, and energetic dance.

Following this is "Tipo", a subtle nod to Underworld. Here, acidic and resonant synthesizers take over the dancefloor, propelled by drums and rhythms designed to unleash euphoria. Lysergic vocals add a hypnotic layer, further immersing you in its danceable energy.

Finally, the EP culminates with "India In Us (UK Mix)", a powerful collaboration with his Argentine compadre residing in Bogotá, Julian Sanza (half of legendary projects like Silver City and 2020 Vision Soundsystem). This track is an ode to more "UK" and "two-thousands" sonorities, featuring booming basslines and frenetic melodies that invite total surrender on the dancefloor.

"Indian Prototype" is a statement of intent from Álvaro Cabana, a release crafted for DJs, diggers, and lovers of the rave sound.
