𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓼𝓸𝓾𝓻𝓬𝓮 𝓸𝓯 𝓢𝓸𝓾𝓷𝓭 has been selected to be broadcasted at Spikeisland Open Studio this weekend for the Broadcasting Intimacy aural exhibition. 📻The piece is also been selected by the super @noodsradio to be broadcasted Saturday April 29th , 2023 4 to 5 pm !🎶

About the piece : The full sound scape is a composition of pure and manipulated field recordings inside a cave in the Forest of Dean, where four of us had to walk in the depth of the cave we had to walk through a stream of freezing water, which covers the rocky floor, arriving up to our knees.
At one point in our adventure we encountered this big rock, placed in the middle of the cave, reminding of a drum. We played with smaller rocks on the top of it, as well as with the water around. What we were making is a deep primitive sound, which was really fun to make all together as we felt closer to each other and nature, almost forgetting to be half wet and cold. It was a playful, fun, bonding and explorative experience towards what is 'the source' of sound, at the roots of contemporary electronic compositions.

Super honoured to be invited to play for the AMAZING Existance Festival. It was an absolutely epic weekend. 

Love love love what the team are creating. The vision is amazing and I'm super glad to be part of it. 

Here's my set. Re recorded due to some tech issues on the day.  find it hard to retrospectively try to recreate the magic by looking through my history at what I played and it was soooo much better on the day.
 
It's a 'you had to be there' moment I'm afraid. ;) So close your eyes, imagine being in the magic and have a wiggle in your living room or wherever you choose.

Jimy AKA Cylens's passion of music born with rock/blues/reggae from my musician father but after
discovered electronic music i started producing and djing between breakbeats,Tekno and Psytrance, 
after the discovery step i focussed on bass music, with special love for drum and bass, but inspiring himself from any different possible genre specially for the all around the spectrum,beside obviously totally commercial and soulless music, the most important thing in music for me is the felling she give us,doesn’t matter if you listen to classic, electronic, extreme metal or any other kind of genre as long as there is Unpredictability, Balance and a story inside. 

Based in Rotterdam, im a Producer and Professional Dj specialised in neuro/deep/soulful & crossbreed but also uk bass,breakbeat, dubstep,hip hop, trap and psychedelic world, so versatile for any kind of occasion and location with word wide live experience in Europe, Sri Lanka and North America.
