It is with great pride for me to share this labor of love that we have crafted that represents this blossoming partnership that #SCPhils is having with #iGersmanila. While our group is a community of music artists, theirs is an equally fun community of amazing photographers and visual artists. And this February 2014, their sights and our sounds have been united.

This song, entitled "#ktgvr" or Keep the Good Vibes Rolling, describes #iGersmanila's values of appreciation of nature and society and camaraderie between members, as a way of spreading good vibes to all people who view their masterpieces. 

So when @edcalaycay, a moderator of #iGersmanila approached us to create a theme song for them, it didn't take too much for us to agree since GOOD VIBES is also a commodity we share in #SCPhils, through music and emerging friendships.

Together with me, two other prominent songwriters from SCPhils, Paola Lozare and Cian Garcia, teamed together to write the song. And to help us in interpreting the song are the vocal talents of Sharm Nolledo, Drexler John Cruz and Iko Mortensen Tan.

Kahel At Bughaw

This was one of the earliest songs I have written. It has undergone many iterations and revisions before it comes to this. The interesting part of this song is that, the melody came to me in a dream. I woke up crying and humming this tune. This song was actually the reason why I taught myself to learn basic guitar stuff... the only reason why is because I wanted to put music on this song that has been ringing in my head for so long. Now that I have the final output, I'm happy.

I Will Never was never the first title of this song. It used to be "Insert Name Here" I know... because the old chorus has this "This song ends in your name" line in there... And back then I thought that was smart to title it that. HAHA! Boy, I was so naive! HAHA!

Anyway, just for fun, I included the old chorus as a background voice at the end... Enjoy!
