Echoform” est une exploration sonore où la résonance devient rythme et la répétition, matière. Le morceau se déploie lentement, guidé par une basse pulsante et des échos qui se transforment en formes vivantes. Entre tension et fluidité, chaque élément semble respirer dans un espace infini, oscillant entre mécanique et organique.
Cette composition minimal techno plonge l’auditeur dans un état méditatif, où les frontières entre le son et le silence s’effacent. “Echoform” n’impose rien : il enveloppe, hypnotise et absorbe, comme une architecture acoustique en mouvement lent.

For the next instalment on Ca$hminus Music - the label run by the duo of the same name AKA Gratts & Eluize - they enlist the talents of Belgian producer Club Mayz for a tongue-in-cheek Italo Disco-influenced 7". Having previously released music on Wool-E Tapes and sister label Wool-E Discs, his first for Ca$hminus was written back in 2012 as a tribute to the Ghent-based Italo night Pingwing, using only a MicroKord and a mic. Becoming something on an underground hit in the city, Club Mayz performed the track live at one of the parties, but only the once and after that it never saw the light of day, until now.

Funnuvojere’s new ethereal EP interweaves nostalgia for the past and reflections on the present. The EP is imbued with Martin’s memories of discovering Berlin’s Love Parade, the golden cradle of ‘90s trance and progressive house. Emotional tension and unexpected polymeters characterise the EP, with minimalistic notes rippling back from a distant future. Careful design produces a unique sound and grain that will blissfully envelop those lucky enough to hear it played.

Absent-mindedly dipping your hand in the pool, you glance down as your skin shimmers lightly in tandem with the pristine blue water. Reaching to grab your cocktail, you find yourself sticking to the sun lounger like melted cheese. Weird. Hang on, you could’ve sworn that baby hippo wasn’t wearing sunglasses the last time you looked over? Whatever, the music sounds incredible right now, and you breathe a deep sigh as the waves wash in.

Landing on our own Ransom Note Records, following our Pen Pals 2 compilation and Flug 8 LP release, is a long player from Hologram Teen AKA former Stereolab keyboardist Morgane Lhote. Her debut as a solo artist came five years ago followed by her first album Between The Funk and the Fear surfacing in 2018. Now she comes correct with her sophomore release, Pizza Conspiracy: a kaleidoscopic marvel that folds acid-drenched funk and Congolese rumba into astral jazz and Daisy Age hip-hop, reminiscent of 00's beat tapes à la MF Doom, Donuts, The Avalanches and Madlib's Beat Konducta series.

Starting off the EP is RFX, with a groovy mystical disco pearl of the faraway desert.
Second, we have a rework from Native Red of the infamous track that you know to sing but probably don’t remember where you heard it.
For the second edit from Native Red, we have a dark cinematic banger for some spooky vibe.
And last but not least, a very rare psychedelic gem RFX has dug up which closes the EP in with a rite of passage.

Member of the Disco Evangelio crew, My Boy Roy is the solo project of Roger Guerrero, a producer/DJ from Irapuato now living in Guadalajara, Mexico.

With a notorious but not strictly attached taste in retro dance music, he likes to experiment with classic '80s sounds bringing up some modern and futuristic elements into his creations. Going from bright and friendly to dark and experimental, he's always looking for innovative sounds both in his production and mixes.
