Cleric hails from Manchester in the North of England and describes his precision designed, heavy techno tracks as a means to translate emotion to others; to transport his intuitive feel for timing, tension and sound engineering to listeners far and wide.

Over three tracks, Cleric's functional and tense take on the modern techno sound keeps things nicely restrained, loaded with kinetic energy and heavy potential for well-tuned sound systems. 'Pattern One', '…Two' and '…Three' each offer a different angle on a central theme, that revolves around sizable kick drums, crisp cutting hats and percussion, and smooth dub-themed synth elements that all dance in spacious unison. 

Len Faki also lends his hand to 'Pattern One', introducing a crafty breakdown to the proceedings and his trademark builds and cuts, completing this essential package.

UK based Techno producer best known by his work on the Belgium based Token Records and whose style ranges from gritty minimal techno to Detroit influenced material. Originally a Mastering engineer, Ø[Phase] began producing as a sideline, releasing his debut 'Module Overload' on Steve Bicknell's Lost/Cosmic records in 2000. This was followed by a string of productions for London's Surface/Inceptive Records and Ben Sims Ingoma imprint, all of which saw consistent big name support throughout the techno community. He started working with Token in 2007 and since then his music has progressively gained more & more worldwide attention - most significantly on 2012's much acclaimed 'Binary Opposition' single and subsequent 'Reprocessed' remix package. Recent times have seen him remix for the likes of Robert Hood, Peter Van Hoesen & Mark Broom amongst others while avid support from Marcel Dettmann and Ben Klock have led to several appearances at Berghain in Berlin. Draku experienced a strange dream: a dense jungle where every leaf and vine moved to the beat of an invisible rhythm. Florian Meindl kick starts 2017 with a special four-track vinyl only release ‘Colorful Cage’. Released on his own imprint FLASH Recordings, the title track is taken from his forthcoming album ‘Time Illusion’.

There is an exclusive vinyl edit of Florian’s previously released foreboding techno track ‘Nix Charon’ and completing the EP are two further unique tracks ‘Controlled Pressure’ and ‘Wild Sequence 3’ which also features in the upcoming LP.

As a DJ, live performer, studio producer and sound designer, Florian has over the years established an impressive producing base for himself in his Berlin based Riverside Studio complex with an exciting hardware set up including Modular Systems, an analog mixing desk as well as classic machines like Roland 909. 
In anticipation for the LP release in early April, Florian has prepared a unique live set featuring a Modular System, the KORG Minilogue, effect boxes and a 909 drum machine which were used in the creation of the album which he will be touring throughout 2017.

Ben Klock’s Klockworks invites the legendary London-based artist The Advent to join the ever-growing roster to deliver the 22nd instalment on the label, to be due out this September. The Advent started producing in his trademark raw, energetic style in 1994 and since then has become a rebel and an icon in the scene. Cisco Ferreira puts forward three stand-out tracks for Klockworks, one brand new one and two from The Advent’s rave archives.

On the A-side, ‘High Horse’ is a fresh track from The Advent that has been prominent in his live sets, features a saucy vocal that can also be recognised as a favourite in Ben Klock’s DJ sets in the past few months, now finally making an appearance on wax for the label. 

The flip-side features two previously unreleased tracks from the 90’s when the approach was more raw and groovy, something that can be seen having a revival in current times. ‘Un Named’ is more stripped down and pulsating while ‘Sound Pove’ features a jacking Chicago house groove with a techno tempo, both fitting perfectly into the Klockworks catalog.

Biography :
Born out of a deep friendship in 2013, Möd3rn was established as a live act channeling the raw energy of techno through pure improvisation. The project was initially founded by Electric Rescue, later joined by Maxime Dangles and Traumer. Eventually, Kmyle and Moteka joined the ensemble. Together, they transcend individual artistry to create a shared musical experience, where every performance becomes a unique journey into the organic and instinctive sounds of techno.

The essence of Möd3rn lies in the synergy of its members, each bringing their unique talents.  Electric Rescue, a pivotal figure in the French rave scene and the visionary behind Skryptöm, along with Moteka and Kmyle, contribute to a collective force that thrives on collaboration rather than competition. Although Maxime Dangles and Traumer have since moved on to other artistic pursuits, their contributions have left behind a lasting legacy and a resilient, innovative foundation for the group.

With over a decade of experience. At the core of Möd3rn is their live performance, the heart of the project. Their sound is a blend of raw yet nuanced energy—a pulsating maelstrom that captures the essence of techno with both intensity and subtlety. Every performance is entirely improvised, as the group connects an array of machines—synthesizers, drum machines, computers, effect pedals, modular setups—into a large analog mixing board, creating an unfiltered and spontaneous techno experience. This approach allows them to interact directly with their audience, crafting unique moments in clubs and festivals that are unrepeatable and born in the moment.

From the intimate setting of the Rex Club to the expansive stages of international festivals, Möd3rn’s journey is one of exploration and expression. Their performances transport audiences into a world where the boundaries of techno are continuously pushed and redefined. Central to their identity is their record label, through which they release albums that reflect their collective vision.

As they continue to evolve, Möd3rn stands as a testament to the power of friendship and improvisation—a living, breathing entity fueled by a shared passion for music and a commitment to creating genuine, unfiltered moments of connection through techno.
