As one of the masterminds behind Radiant Love, Byron Yeates has been killing it on all fronts in recent years. The authentic, and altogether meaningful platform, heavily powered by a community-driven ethos, celebrates inclusivity with a strong focus on contemporary art and killer line-ups. With an eye on the release of their recent V.A. compilation for International Women's Day, we caught up with Yeates to get the lowdown.

BSRMIX #120 - Hybrid Man (live)

We are very happy to have a new Phase Group mix to share with you thanks to Jazz from Australia. 

Jazz lives in Naarm where she hosts the weekly Spaces Within Space radio shows every Sunday night at midnight on PBS 106.7 fm. Her radio shows and mixes  showcase an amazing selection and ability to blend varying textures, tempos and soundscapes that comes with a deep knowledge of electronic music. She's an in demand DJ in Naarm regularly playing in clubs around the city whilst working hard to push the local scene and she also recently released her first original music on @phenomenarecords in the form 'Subtype' a brilliant half-tempo, dubbed out, percussive, psychedelic acid/idm track that she produced in collaboration with Georgia bird.

Her mix for us moves through those same psychic, cerebral and echoing spaces, taking in downtempo acid, dark idm, lofi drum machine jams and  slow trance atmospheres.

Phase Group Mix - Jazz

@Hame_DJ is an artist from Perth, Australia. A producer and dj that has been able to release in some of my favorite labels like @RadiantRecords or @KalaharyOysterCult, in coop with big artists such as Roza Terenzi. He has a particular style that surfs a trance wave, over strong beats and heavy baselines.

This mix is a trip to the very bottom of earth. Slow downtempo rythms that will slowly wake up your body and take you into an enjoyable journey.

Episode 63 lands in the deep and dark realms of spacious and emotive electronic music exploration, from Bristol based masterful selector Monoke.

Setting herself up for an exciting 2023 ahead, Monoke has dug into a deep and immersive selection of dubby, ambient inspired techno and thick bass-scapes that captivated our ears and minds upon first listening to this brilliantly crafted mix. We have become increasingly aware of this talented DJ's activities with sets popping up across Bristol, Cardiff and London it's easy to see why Monoke is a name repeatedly appearing on line-ups. Headphone on for this one, it's a beaut!
