I did a hasty fan remaster of Distressor. Do note that I'm not a professional or even a hobbyist, just fucked around until I got it to sound relatively ok. There's a few mistakes but eh I think I did a good job.

DISCLAIMER: I don't own the copyright on this, nor am I in any way associated with Whirr. In fact I think they're garbage people because of their transphobia. But I do love their music, and I know others do too. So I did this.

Blue (Remastered)

A cover of Sigur Rós's "Svefn-g-englar" from 'Ágætis Byrjun.'

This song means the world to me. It opened me up to a whole new world of music, and I wanted to try and basically replicate it in a home studio setting. Attempting to record a song as the original band recorded it gives you a whole new understanding of the piece and all its nuances. With the advancements in technology over the past forty-odd years, anyone with the skill can record professional music in a bedroom.

Please forgive my ridiculous butchering of the language. My Icelandic is terrible, but it's an absolutely beautiful language.

Oh, yeah, and I legitimately sang through my guitar pickups on this recording. It was epic.

Man, I love this song. So, I decided to do an acapella version by ear. It was tons of fun and I kind of rushed through it, but I think it turned out alright.

Jamie Woon - Night Air (Mad Atlantic Acapella Version)

You know, I've always liked The Magnetic Fields and this song, but I always felt it deserved a less cutesy rendition. It's still as tongue-in-cheek, but approximately 47% more rock.

That new My Bloody Valentine record really inspired me to do something with my time other than wait for their website to stop crashing. So, I covered "Only Shallow," which is a total jam, and definitely one of my all-time favorite songs.
