So let's start with one that I really like...the o'l reliable, Ultra Glow, released in Flow Records not long ago ⚡ it represents a new stage of my development as producer cuz let's be real, it's a 180 degrees change compared to my previous darker experiments. Back on Stil vor Talent after contributing a banging remix to Oliver Koletzki and Fritz Kalbrenner's 'Heart on Hold' a few months ago, Bulgarian producer Pavel Petrov turns in his debut solo transmission for us, 'Parallel'. Comprised of two cuts that give full vent to his epic-sized vision and monumental buildups, Petrov's newest bridges the gap between frontal sonic assault and a sensorially effervescing sound design. As cascades of pumped up Italo arpeggios and languid pads mingle in a cosmic symphony of sorts, 'Parallel' opens up a portal to some unknown clubbing dimension, where a brooding, near-dystopian atmosphere crosses swords with hypermodern EBM brutalism and grime-informed vox sampling. A further straightforward, acid-oriented roller, the second track 'C0smica' has us nodding our heads to a crisp deluge of liquid bass and neon-splattered electro vibrancy, ready to take on any dance floor with its inch-perfect combo of retro-laced imagery and sci-fi-indebted kinetics. We're back from our extended holiday period and we're proud to present our first release of 2024, this scintillating new EP from the Australian bushtechno weapon, Tom Baker.

The B-Side, 'Weather Patterns' finds Mr. Baker venturing into dark, driving musical territories. With its broody and menacing character, this track acts as the perfect storm to turn a dancefloor inside out. The title track, 'My Mistake', was born from a serendipitous moment in the studio, a happy accident whilst messing around on the tools that have evolved into a sonic masterpiece that is simply extraordinary.

The EP is accompanied by a banging psychedelic techno remix of Weather Patterns by Greenwolve and a smooth progressive take on 'My Mistake' by Human Element. Ultimately, this journey comes to its inevitable ending and is signed out by a bonus track - a 2024 edit of Tom's remix to 'Medusa' by South Punk, infused with newfound energy and vitality.
