The Steadies aren't invited to the party--- they ARE the party. A high-energy groove based band who mixes pop-rock with world-beat, funk and reggae, creating a sound they’ve dubbed, ‘island-rock’. Frontman Earl Pereira (formerly of Wide Mouth Mason) is a 3-Time JUNO Award Nominee. Highlights for The Steadies include features on Canadian Musician Magazine, TMZ, CBC, touring Asia, Europe while sharing the stage with legendary artists like Ziggy Marley and The Roots. After 10 years, 1000 shows and releasing 4 albums, The Saskatoon based dance-rockers were recently signed by Bristol Records / CDX Nashville with worldwide distribution by Sony The Orchard.

John Early is an author, yogi, singer-songwriter, founder of ViYarte Retreat Center and co-founder of Momentom Collective. His passion and projects in life are always defining new territory and best approached through his favourite stanza by Hafiz: Laughter, the glorious sound of a soul waking up!

​John's formal education consists of a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Management at the University of Saskatchewan and ESC Rouen, France. Since then, it has been John’s 13 years of globe trotting through which he has found his real education and reason to smile in life.

His award-winning book, Tales of the Modern Nomad – Monks, Mushrooms & Other Misadventures delves into his decade of global backpacking over 30 countries through an eclectic layout of stories, photography, poetry and sidebar sketches. It captures all the travel insight you won’t get in a guidebook - including getting lost in cultural taboos and journeys with psychedelic plant medicines.

John’s current mission is creating inspirational human expeirences via communities and alternate pockets of reality at his venue, ViYarte in Playa Marsella, Nicaragua. A beachside training ground for artists and entrepreneurs to uplevel their mind, body and spirit. The collective intention is that together we can reshape the world through the gift of community and art.

What began as a fusion of yoga and circus flow arts has now evolved into Momentom being at the forefront of creating alternate realities, art and music to tap into our highest potential. 

Momentom experiences are a hybrid between a summit, a retreat and a festival where residents collaborate on training, innovation and art.​

We design each of our spaces to invoke dream-like experiences specifically tailored to bring an entire community into a baseline state of inspiration.
