This is part II of the epic Ziur movement series which is a intermezzo between the first and third movement. . Vasat means 'in between' in Persian. The whole movement series is dedicated to my fiancée :)

There's nothing better than playing a peaceful improvisation during a time of reflection and absorbing life as is. I know I haven't played too much electric lately with the new acoustic guitar CD out now but I'm glad to be hitting it again with raw emotions and of course being free of any kind of stress. This is my goal in life, express what can't be through music.

Ever since I got my first guitar and sat with it for the first time in 2001, I improvised. I have been improvising and letting myself loose since then and thought this may be a cool new series to show you all not only my compositions but my present feelings as I improvise. Hope you can feel what I was trying to say with these.

Happy to announce my second LP "The Lamaj Movement" is now released with Candyrat Records! The CD features some original artwork from me as well as descriptions of each track revealing the concept of the album. 

"The Lamaj Movement" - May 2012, features 12 original compositions based on my nomadic life thus far (Iran, Belarus, Germany, USA, Canada). Each track is a piece of memory taken at one point during our travels. Phew what a trip!

Awakening

Sorry about the delay in uploading a new improvisation. I've had a busy lil life with the acoustic guitar but felt damn good to let this out. I really like the way this one came out. It has potential for a composition that I may start working on. I write most of my songs based off improvisations so who knows, maybe you'll hear some of these motifs in a new tune soon! Let me know your thoughts on this one.
