Slowly but surely building her name within the international scene, Julieta’s production shows a mature and insightful sound that has been honed to perfection. Packing in a robust 5 tracks to her Soma debut, Julieta works through stripped and hypnotic techno with ease.

'The Things You Can’t Touch' sets the tone for the release perfectly with a driving baseline and subtle atmospherics set against effective, metallic synth work.

'Closer To Being Burned' works a darker angle with acid-like synths, twisting and bending throughout as sharp percussive elements drive the rhythm. 

'Psychophony' keeps the darker tone but introduces a subtle melodic side that keeps the track on the edge. 'Another Day In The Prison' again utilises more melodic elements combining them perfectly with cinematic style builds in the atmospheres. A special Bandcamp exclusive track closes out the release as 'Out To The Lake, Into The Rain' brings dubbed out synths and creative ethereal vibes to a driving dance floor orientated track.

Searching for the sound of a river flowing under the ice, the cracking of the ice cap, capturing the rhythm of the tides under starry nights. This is what inspired the composition of the EP.
L'énigme du timbre is a journey through the great Quebec winter, immersing us in the journey of the water under the ice. From river to lake to river, this stroll lets us experience the different stages and modes of propagation of the vital liquid, passing through the infinitely small, until we discover it in the immensity of a united and total mass.
The use of microphonic and hydroponic sound recordings mixed with modular and granular synthesis served as a compositional basis for working around timbre, polyrhythm and natural forms retranscribed in different envelopes, reproducing complex and unique sounds. A hybridization of natural sound and synthesized sound While remaining in the spirit of Techno, Youg's second EP features his own constantly evolving research into texture.

Born in 1987 in Bourgogne (France), Manøløw discovered electronic music, and more precisely Techno, when he was a teenager. It is initiated by the greatest, such as Laurent Garnier or Mr Oizo, that he widens his palette of competences and makes his collection of vinyls grow near the record shops of his region.

It is at the doors of the majority that Manøløw launches out in the organization of Minimal evenings and starts to occur in front of the public, in particular in the festival Off of Nuit Sonores in Lyon.

He then gets the residency of a French club and becomes the artistic programmer for 7 years. He had the chance to invite and play with famous artists like Robert Babicz, Louisahhh or Maxime Dangles.

Guided by his thirst for discovery and diversity, Manøløw continues his adventure in Montreal. Cosmopolitan and multicultural, his new life offers him a new look at his art, and it's all his universe that takes a new dimension.

It is through meetings and the discovery of new artists that he is invited to perform in parties like Ärder or to play in different clubs in the city like Newspeak and Salon Daomé. With Sharing as his main value, he allies himself with other artists and also performs as a duo in raves and parties in Quebec and Montreal.

His next EP as well as his Live project are the result of a deeper reflection, mainly based on the cultural and environmental change of his life.
Always stimulated by club culture but also by free parties, this mix of both genres makes Manøløw a versatile artist. His inspirations naturally give birth to a raw music, rich with deep vibrations and percussive and propulsive rhythms.
