In this piece I am trying to capture trying and failing, improving...moving towards the light.
The opening 3 chord phrase is extended and re-harmonised, growing in length, density and volume each time. After several tonal tangents we eventually succeed in resolving to a home chord of D major in the final bar.

Bio:
Carlos Ferreira is a Brazilian experimental guitarist and composer whose work investigates the act of listening as a poetic and political gesture. Through immersive soundscapes built from processed guitar, field recordings, and subtle electronic textures, Ferreira explores the interplay between sound, space, time, and memory.
He is an artist affiliated with labels such as Past Inside the Present (USA), Modern Obscure Music (Spain), and AKP Recordings (USA), and has released music on a wide range of international imprints, including AvantRoots Records, ARCHIVES (Spain), 梅レコード / Umé Records, Beatless Tapes (Japan), Atlantic Rhythms, Aural Canyon, Mystery Circles, Histamine Tapes (USA), and Giraffe Tapes (Georgia), among others.
Carlos has created exclusive live sets for renowned radio platforms like Dublab in Osaka and Los Angeles, and is a regular contributor to Fantaspoa—the International Fantastic Film Festival of Porto Alegre—where he presents live re-scorings of silent cinema classics. His remix work includes reinterpretations for artists such as Hinako Omori, Patricia Wolf, and Jonny Radtke.
