Wow such a cool smooth complete song in such a short amount of time!  OK your use of the prompt was AWESOME!  Love all the vocals, the instrumentation and the sounds you have in here - it really works!  You have a piano sound that is just delicious - almost sounds like strings but not quite - I love it.  Love the lyric "blinded by hindsight".  Favorite part of the song is your bridge!

La primera piedra es esta "El Nudo" con la que inicia una nueva etapa en solitario, a tientas entre el rock alternativo (con aires por momentos noise, por momentos dreamy, por momentos shoegaze), pero siempre con un poso autoril, entre melancólico y rabioso, que le da una fortaleza e identidad a la propuesta y os obliga a seguir muy de cerca a Elena Carat.

La canción, que ha contado con la co-producción de David Baldo (que ha trabajado con artistas de la talla de Aiko el Grupo, Repion, Carlangas o Fee Reega, entre otros) viene acompañada también de un videoclip dirigido por la realizadora Laura Meixús.

This album is a scam. Or isn't it?

In 1992 and 1993 (as a 22 yr old) I recorded a lot of my own songs on cassette. Just me, my acoustic guitar, bass, and sometimes percussion or even borrowed drums. In my head, the songs sounded like the indie guitar bands and the grungy vibe that was in fashion at the time. Most of these tracks were left unfinished, apart from a few re-recordings and later releases.

Now, AI technology makes it possible for these songs to finally sound the way I roughly imagined them back then. Complemented by two songs I wrote in 2013 (at 44). All song structures, melodies and riffs are mine. AI just gave them a new skin. Sometimes it sounds like the band I never had in '93; other times it feels like a modern reinterpretation of that era’s sound. And I love it. Although it’s also a little frightening.

The songs were once sung by a younger me, but this time I let a woman’s voice carry them. I love the contrast: understated, emotionally contained vocals against harder sounds.

These 90's songs, together with the two later pieces (Day Upon Day, Red Moon) form a bridge between who I was and who I’ve become.

This project isn’t a gimmick. It started with curiosity. But turned out to be a conversation between eras. I fed an unfinished past into the system, and what came out feels both intimately human and eerily pristine. That friction between artefact and upgrade is where Repetition Is a Sound finds its soul.

For me it feels like the songs finally found their balance. Like a dialogue between presence and distance, noise and tenderness. Red versus Blue.
