Jake Milgate for Deadendhiphop.com has stated that Imp "is a surgically precise emcee," "very atypical of most rap music coming out of Atlanta is one of the reasons why they stand out amongst all others."

Hi I’m aestrea. AESTREA is my musical project that I started when I was 14, born out of a love for alternative/indie music, with a mix of ambient, acoustic, electronic, and synth pop influences and sounds. I also try to incorporate my love for sci-fi and space into my music and overall aesthetic, which is why I chose the name AESTREA when I started out. I started producing, writing, and recording music in my bedroom when I was 14, and since then I have slowly built an audience on platforms such as Soundcloud and Spotify. My passion for music started with a guitar and a notebook, and led to synthesizers and software. Creating music is my passion and I am so grateful for everyone who supports my music!
