Current live gigs include touring and recording guitarist with Jah Wobble and the Invaders of the Heart, Ruby Wood, Dana Ali, The Yorkshire Gypsy Swing Collective and bassplayer with the James O'Hara Blues Band.

Windows & Canopies consists of an electric vibraphone, a Max msp audio and sound manipulative programme and myself (Phil). It might expand to something else later, but I am just happy to leave this as a trio exploring the many capabilities of interaction between electro- acoustic instrument & computerised electronics.

Green Leader is a Whidbey Island-based instrumental project blending funk, soul, psychedelia, and cinematic groove. Drawing inspiration from artists like Tycho, Vulfpeck, Cory Wong, and Thievery Corporation, Green Leader creates lush, rhythmic soundscapes rooted in live looping, improvisation, and deep pocket feels.

With guitar at the helm and a tight rhythm section driving the ship, Green Leader’s music takes listeners on a journey through natural spaces — quite literally. Their upcoming debut album, Trails, is a sonic love letter to the forests, paths, and hidden gems of Whidbey Island. Every track is named after a real trail, each groove inspired by the landscape it honors.
