NICONOTE is a Voice. A world among Music and Performance.
An artistic project and an Alias created in 1996 by independent artist #NicolettaMagalotti (#VioletEves  #morphine #AND #dippySite #Squat #InLimbo). She is a transversal artist, not definable in her uniqueness. Acts in multiple territories related to music, theater, installations, clubbing. She has toured music and theater in Italy and throughout Europe, Canada, Israel, Argentina, Brazil.

She produces since 1985 with various pseudonyms and featuring and as NicoNote, "Alphabe Dream" (Cinedelic/Audioglobe 2013) produced together with the French composer Mikael Plunian, "Emotional Cabaret" (DocLive/Freecom/Audioglobe 2017) produced together with Daniele Marzi and Alfredo Nuti, featuring guests Roberto Bartoli, Enrico Gabrielli, Stefano Pilia, White Raven. The secret album "Deja V." (MAT Factory 2018) completely unplugged, dedicated to her first band Violet Eves (1984-1988). Violet Eves' track "Listen over the Ocean"  was chosen for "Uneven Paths: Deviant Pop From Europe 1980-1991" multiple artist compilation on Music From Memory (MFM031 2018), compiled by Raphael Top-Secret and Jamie Tiller. Lately she produced "Chaos Variation V" a release by Obsolete Capitalism Sound System & NicoNote - Vinyl 12” EP 45 rpm + 16 pg booklet (RizosferaNURKFM005 /RoughTrade 2019). NicoNote brings with her the echo of the uniqueness of her paths, she combines the performative dimension with clubbing, radical improvisation with pop. She creates a mood, a world where something "happens". Suspended between voice, sound and overall climate Nico crosses many genres and atmospheres mixing live emotions and sounds. Indefinable.
