Captivate is a Canadian producer and DJ pushing deeply rooted yet forward thinking bass music. The emerging artist’s productions vary from dark, weighty and dubbed out halftime to frenetic footwork jungle hybrids, to lush ambient-infused bass music. His tracks always pay homage to 90's rave music but with a focus on fusing classic elements with lesser used rhythms. Now a familiar name across Canada, he has had the honour of playing shows and festivals across the country and has provided support for the likes of Fixate, Skeptical, AMIT and many more. Traversing a wide range of tempos and genres from 86 up to 160 BPM, these tracks are all held together by a common thread of dubbed out sound design. Spacious and bass heavy energy, lush echoes, reverb and soulful spirits all throughout. Hope you enjoy as always.
