Split Digraph lives in the hinterland between outright electropop and more leftfield experimental music of the likes that Warp and Rephlex records made famous. It can live as happily on a sunny dance-floor as it does nestled in earbuds on a winter’s woodland walk.

ARPRAXIS is a vinyl DJ, Techno, House and U.K. breaks artist. The music is electronic and genre-fused. Music from the soul. Inspired by early Detroit artists like Carl Craig, Juan Atkins and Kevin Saunderson. The early 90s Hardcore, Jungle and DnB magic makes up a majority of my record collection topped with hard-hitting gabber, techno and tracks from Detroit that still give me goosebumps…Red Planet ‘Star Dancer’ and Casey Tucker for example are sublime. BB Mon is a producer who uses sampling and field recordings, mixing with synths and guitar. With these he creates songs which blend influences including indie, electronica and hip hop.

   I have been writing songs since I was about 10 years old, maybe even a bit longer as I can recall being younger than that and strumming a toy guitar and singing some sort of melody. I can play the keys a little bit and that’s where I write my songs at the keyboard, because I don’t have a band behind me, at the moment songs are recorded using keyboard presets as backing music with me singing over into my iPad. 
  I’m in the process of changing my setup and will soon start using a laptop and a keyboard to make hopefully a more unique sound, at least I hope more professional.
  I hope that you enjoy my music, that’s why I make it, because I enjoy it and I want other people to as well.

Matt Mereport emerged from the Manchester ship canal to set up home on a small wooded northern hilltop. Armed with a guitar, voice and electronics he creates what he refers to as “music” though many disagree with this tag. Sometimes it’s heavily electronic, sometimes it’s heavily acoustic. Sometimes it’s heavily weighted. It tends to change from day to day. Much like his socks.
