Recorded live at our Desert Hearts Spring Festival 2016, this 4 hour back 2 back set from Your Desert Hearts Crew: Mikey Lion, Lee Reynolds, Marbs, Deep Jesus, & Porkchop was our victory lap from the best weekend of our lives. After months and months of meetings and preparation leading up to the festival, we barely got to see each other when we were onsite. This 4 hour set was the first time the 5 of us got to truly appreciate and celebrate together at our Spring Festival. Playing in front of our most die hard Desert Hearts Family on Monday afternoon, the vibes were pretty much as thick as they could possibly get. Thank you for making our dreams come true and spreading the love!

Having most recently given the current crop of Indonesian DJ’s a platform to show how good they really are, we have now extended this concept out to the wider region with a slight twist, as we handpick the finest and most talented resident DJ’s across the whole of Asia from some of the most recognised clubs and venues in the region. 

Resident DJ’s are the unsung heroes of clubland, they are the ones who are trusted to read and excite the crowd at either end of the night, and ensure the night is a textured experience taking everyone on a musical journey. Often the best of these are critically acclaimed by the headline acts despite not taking the glory, so we felt it is only right we give them the chance to showcase themselves and prove that The Foundation is what everything else is built on!

After the two incredible sunrise closing sets at the Solar Stage by Nicola Cruz and Be Svendsen on Sunday morning, a few tired and weary super troopers wandered over to Marcel tent to lay their heads on the grass to recover, rest their senses and escape the scorching sun.

Born in Singapore to a family of musicians and lovers of jazz and classical music, from a young age Maurice developed a curiosity for musical forms that stir the senses and tell a story. His time spent in London as a promoter for Ben Watt’s Buzzin’ Fly Records kick-started his journey as a DJ more than 10 years ago. 

Over the years Maurice has quietly established himself in Singapore's underground music scene and around South-East Asia through his very own Re:fuge club nights in Singapore, festival appearances at Epizode (Vietnam), Wonderfruit and Karma Kastle (Thailand) and performances alongside some of the world's leading House & Techno names including Dixon, Mano Le Tough, Kristian Beyer (Âme), Roman Flügel, Ata, Marcus Worgull, The Drifter, Fort Romeau, Aera, Matthias Schöber, Love Over Entropy and &ME. 

Armed with a sound that marries deep and melodic house with tough and moody techno, Maurice is a believer that electronic music is an open platform, without limits on who or what it may connect to. His openness to perform DJ sets that embrace diversity across musical styles with house & techno as the connector, is what drives his constant devotion to the craft of DJing today and into the future.
