The rāga saga is a series that acts as a cultural collectiva of our favourite artists from all over, Each raga is an array of melodic structures with musical motifs, considered in the Indian tradition to have the ability to "colour the mind" and affect the emotions of the audience and this special journey (raga) On the 223rd edition we welcome @maximilian-wehner

We look forward to the musical journey of Maximilian Wehner alias WAYHNA, who has just moved to Berlin.

Collecting the finest sounds for over 10 years. Having lived through virtually all electronic genres, his sets today are characterised by organic, but also very twisted tones. It used to be mainly in the 100 bpm range, but has now settled between 100-120 - or let's call it grooved!

His sets are always a spontaneous development, created by the people on site and thus best describe the moment as he perceives it.
This is how this mix was created around the New Year, which he was allowed to share with long-time friends.

Maybe one or the other track will bring back some summer memories and let you hike through the mellow March in a more relaxed way.

23.10.23 .. somewhere in Berlin, late at night

A room filled with vibing humans, some instruments, a good soundsystem and a Dj-booth. I started to dig a bit, actually wanting to quit soon to enjoy some good talks.. but something changed quickly. Humans started to connect even more, dancing intensely, grabbing the drums and other instruments.. many smiles, hugs, kisses&cuddles. I quickly got one with the energy in the room and we lost track of time.. luckily managed somehow to record the last 3 hours of maybe 8h of pure joy - so thankful for every second <3

Playing an improvised mix on this big stage with equipment I barely use was definitely a challenge, but turned out to become such a fun ride, even with some small imperfections it feels right to share it.. 
Having all my closest beings around dancing into the last festival day of the summer with me together on the stage we helped creating over the week was an experience I will never forget. Thank you everyone who was there enjoying the moment together and the Mystik-Ground crew for the trust. <3  

PS: I lost 20min because some known live act didn’t just take an extra welt, but also extra time for their soundcheck :D

Jetzt möchten wir diese träumerischen Melodien und sanft antreibenden Klänge mit euch teilen - hört rein, bis langsam das Tanzbein zu zucken beginnt und die Vorfreude auf ein nächstes Zusammentreffen kaum mehr zu bremsen ist.

Oh what a journey happend here over the last week..? I always dreamt of a place in Festivals where slow music is appreciated next to all the ecstatic nightstages where Hi-Hats hunt you all night long.. Being trusted by the Skalar-Team to co-create this Downtempo-Place at a Festival where so many friends and creative beings are involved is already special, so co-creating the momets in the early morning hours there on saturday with loved beings made the past days unforgettable for me. It’s a pleasure to share this flowy trip from nightride into sunrise here for the memories.
