BIOGRAPHY:
Martina S. is an Italian producer and dj, based in Barcelona (ES). She began her musical studies at the age of 10 in Milan, studying music theory and guitar, mastering her musical skills in the following 3 years with other musical instruments like bass and drums. From the age of 16 she played in different cover bands with varied styles, going from funk to rock, blues to metal.She first entered in the electronic music environment in Milan using the name DJ Spurk, starting with a house sound and playing in different clubs such as Codice a Barre, Before and Borgo del Tempo Perso between 1997 and 2005. In 2006 she changes her style shifting it into a minimalistic and underground techno vibe that she continuously evolves in Barcelona, her new home town, in several parties such as Area 22, Code, Espais Actual d'Art, La Camara, Café Madeira and many more.From October 2016 she has published singles, EPs & remixes signed under labels such as Bach Music Rec., Sound on Sound Rec., Rebellious Rec., LDN Trax Rec., House Noise Recordings, Techno Vinyls Rec. and Coalition Records. In April 2018 Martina was nominated in the Alternative Power 100 Music List promoted by SheSaid.So, a global network of women working in the music industry. Later that year she becomes a resident in one of the most emblematic and famous techno underground club in Barcelona, The Club M7 and she makes her debut in one of the most important techno club of Berlin, the Kit Kat Klub, playing for one of the most recognized collective of the German capital, Gegen Berlin, where she also becomes a resident.

With the money raised by DJ Martina S. from the caches of her dj sets, she supports "Asociación Adopta Navarra" and "Asociación Amores Incondicionales", two Spanish NGOs that save, treat medically and dealing with giving up for adoption abandoned, or abused, dogs and cats. Techno saving dogs and cats!

This mix was recorded in one take with digital records. The concept behind this was to create something positive and uplifting with easy listening and mixing for the afterparty chill sesh, the chill itself, a psychedelic/grass influenced trip, or even a Springtime spaziergang. Totally downtempo at 100bpm all the way through with ambient, breaks, IDM, and mushroom jazz elements. It was tons of fun to dig into my collection and find some old gems to blend with the new. That being said, I present to you - Mushroom Magic.

Welcome to the 10th Unmasked Discussion.

Lapse of Reason is a member and resident of AREA Z, and half of the Imperial Black Unit duo, together with Templer.
This collective of artists and French Berlin-based label currently is part of a desire to awaken mentality, reflection, openness and sharing by exploring different horizons. From Industrial to EBM, along techno, wave, post-punk, power electronics, in order to break the boundaries between genres.
Through this set, Lapse of Reason drives you in his universe by mixing his different influences EBM, Techno, New Wave and New Beat.

BIO:

Philipp Drube started djing in 2012 as part of the underground techno scene in Hamburg. He has been running parties and DJing ever since. One year later, he moved to Berlin and became a resident at Ismus in 2015. This year, he co-founded the label Space Trax with a first release of Dimensionhopper (aka Schacke) and Lund&Rønde in late summer.

His style is diverse and spacy, combining solid oldschool techno with trancy melodies. Specified in hard- and psytrance sounds, his sets become unique and special.

Maze DK (she/her) is a queer Polish DJ and producer based in Berlin. Her musical upbringing is rooted in EBM, industrial and underground punk, which heavily influences the type of techno she plays – her powerful and relentless music lifts the industrial sounds of broken machinery with an acid sprinkle on top. In her sets, she takes her listeners through dark and energetic dance rituals plunging them into a raving state of consciousness.

Maze DK has played both in and outside of Berlin in clubs as well as soli parties and underground raves for events like GEGEN at KitKat Club, Golosa at Suicide Circus, Dynamics at Mensch Meier, or HIGH at Fitzroy Club. She has been releasing podcasts for a number of collectives such as Durch, Autonoma Industriale and Diffuse Reality. She is also a resident DJ of queer party GOLOSA, one of the founders of Crush Kollektiv and a crew member of the queer dark techno party HIGH, and collaborates with the sex-positive techno party Poly|motion.
