Helve are a Yorkshire based Post-Metal/Doom band fully formed in February 2015. 
With varying musical influences we are aiming to merge  different genres to achieve a heavy sound with melodic/soundscape elements.

Who me?
Im just as confused as everybody else.

I am an ambulance EMT working in an Ambulance Service in the UK. This is something i feel very proud and passionate about. but due to my personal political and social beliefs and experiences, those being reflected in some of my music, i am unable to make anymore connection. this is my own mind. as a human being. not an organisation or service.
i thank you to respect that when im sharing my music. this is me processing my world..... and you are welcome to listen.x

in between my shifts i write produce and record music at home.
I have been making music for as long as my terrible ravaged memory will allow me to remember, but for the past few years i have been focused on my work as an EMT, leaving little time to get out here and share my noise with you.
It has more rather been a private 'just for me', endeavour. My medicine.
i feel its about time i do something with this noise I have on my computer, and make this page a public one.

like many, I have become increasingly frustrated and angry at our current political and social system.

I am seeing more and more people struggle and crumble under governments who do not hold human life as valuable.

Im experiencing first hand, the reality of austerity and its impact on everyday working people. I am feeling the frustration of being part of a service that is being strangled and stretched to breaking point under these austerity measures, and im seeing first hand the deaths and hardship they have caused as a direct result of cuts to much needed services deemed unnecessary by a privileged, wealthy, out of touch ruling "elite" resulting in further pressure on remaining services. ALL OF THIS BY DESIGN, and in the interest of the FEW making profit by exploiting the MANY!   

This is unacceptable.
