Producers Cosmonaut @cosmonaut and K Loveski @loveskidj , both renowned for their sophisticated approach to Progressive House, return to Univack with a new collaboration: “Jackelele”, a four-track EP that fuses tribal energy, melodic elegance, and club sensibility. Through its sonic narrative, the release explores diverse shades of progressive house, featuring remixes by Tali Muss @talimuss , Sunchain @sunchainmusic , and 8PAJ2 @pajproduction  —three rising talents in the global underground scene.

The original mix of Jackelele is a vibrant anthem, driven by a captivating rhythmic structure, African vocal elements, and organic instruments woven seamlessly with modern electronic textures. Tali Muss enhances the groove with a more direct, club-friendly approach, while staying true to the original spirit. Sunchain takes the track into a more organic and immersive direction, rich in tribal percussion and deep atmospheres. 8PAJ2 delivers a more powerful interpretation—still progressive, but with melodic techno undertones and the kind of intensity that suits peak-time sets.

“Jackelele” is a sonic journey that bridges tribal roots and contemporary dancefloor aesthetics—ideal for energy-filled DJ sets. A new testament to Univack’s ongoing commitment to emotional depth and musical quality within the Melodic & Progressive House universe.

@Varum is a young Leipzig-based DJ and Producer that is part of the @ClearMemory Crew who are a group of Electro-artists/DJ´s, label-operators in East-Germany). In 2017 he released a split EP with @jayoverdose on https://soundcloud.com/hypress/orphra-clipz-ep-snippets 

The track selected to premiere on @DarkScienceElectro is the dancefloor-ready bop entitled 'Blocks'. Staccato bass lines, rushing arpeggios and TR-606 hats make this a clear standout on this wax release. To me, it's almost like Outrun meets Electro, which doesn't seem so bad at all in this instance. @Varum has a formula for a kind of melody that is almost amnesia-inducing amongst the other tracks, yet maintains some intrigue throughout the 4-track release. He also produces some really neat, lo-fi, Jazzy, Hip-Hop type stuff as well that he gives away on https://varum.bandcamp.com/ - This record will become available in February.

Deemphasis is a french producer specializing in electro, acid and vocoder.
Originally from northern france, deemphasis was influenced in the late 80s by german, english, detroit and belgian techno sounds. in the 90s, he is very involved in the "demoscene" and uses "sound-tracker" to make music. Nowadays, he always uses the same approach.
it was at this time that he settled in clermont-ferrand, in the early 2000s, he began to do some concerts and he turned gradually to electro.

In 2010, deemphasis released its first 12 "ep" synthetic cells "on the umwelt label, newflesh records. Then, several ep and his famous album "mechanical beats" on ukonx recordings.

In this ep, deemphasis explores some of the feelings one can encounter in a post-apocalyptic world.
The opening title "my empire" is clearly oriented towards the dance floor and features a surviving robotic voice in a hostile environment.
An acid base consolidates the melancholy atmosphere.
The remix of "my empire" by the french producer "the observer" is a journey with some hypnotizing effects, deep experience and ongoing melodies take will take you to a different dimension, sounds rythmic, mysterious and variable... this remix are like a poetical description of some non-human race or nature of another dimension....

The b side begins with the track "obsession", presenting a long journey in the darkness. The mechanical rhythm sounds like a dehumanized factory fighting against continuous pressure.
The ep ends with a touch of hope, looking for a « rebirth », contemplating the galaxy full of stars.

Isolated Material is a 25 year old French producer who now lives in Berlin. In his debut EP « Aliased », he explores different atmospheres in the field of electro.
The EP starts with « Control Your Mind », a cold and dystopian track that sets the tone.
"Programmatic" follows with heavy, playful and glitchy rhythms before moving on to « Dotted », which highlights the bass influences of the producer.
Next comes the acid glitch groove « Ritual », followed by « Root Cause » which explores the funkier side of electro.
« Spinning » ends things up with heavily distorted drums and hypnotic arps.
