MEDES is een jong kwartet dat schippert tussen lyrische muziek en vrije grooves. Zelf omschrijven ze hun muziek als een stevige brok energie. Verkenning en uitwisseling van muzikale ideeën staan centraal. MEDES speelt eigen composities welke uit een jazz achterond komen, maar niet altijd zo klinken.
