Headphones do not allow that to happen. Traditionally, in ancient cultures using sound healing techniques, such as singing bowls, they were placed as close to the body for healing to happen. Recorded just outside of a Village in Southern Poland, a variety of birds singing and chirruping, with the distant sound of aircraft in the background. 
The occasional sound of a woodpecker can be heard, as well as the occasional insect. In the forest there was a space for people to pray, - a small church and a man-made waterfall, and also I was told that there was once a battle close-by. 
This was recorded in April 2016 and one particular memory of this time of spring was watching the caddisfly larvae navigating their way around a small stream.
