Below is a collection of music I’ve written and recorded since the iPhone / iPad became a viable platform for playing and recording music.  Nearly everything here was written and recorded in NanoStudio or NanoStudio 2 with dozens of supporting iOS apps.  As such, these tracks are quirky electronic creations with strong pop and symphonic elements, often peppered with bluesy riffs or solos.

Hi there, thanks for checking us out. We are a husband and wife duo, I'm Joystar and my fabulous husband is Olipop. Our journey began quite a few years ago when Olipop was writing some new songs and asked me to play some root notes on the bass for him to hear how it sounded. He had to string an acoustic guitar upside down for me since I'm a leftie. It grew from there with him teaching me where to play and learning a few of his songs. We played to some friends in their garden but I wasn't really involved in the writing process or really understanding what notes I was playing. Then at the end of 2019 I had an idea for a song and for the first time Oli had to learn my song. Since then I've been learning more and we've started writing songs together. It's been our sanity over the past few years and we have managed to release our first album together. We've got so many ideas that we started recording on Oli's old 4 track cassette recorder to get them out. I thought this might be a good place to share some of our rough demos for folk to hear.
