In anticipation of Love International 2022, we’re launching Transmission to Tisno – a b2b mix series featuring festival favourites and new artists locked in for this year’s fifth anniversary event.

Touching down with a bag of heavy-duty heaters, Manami and Tai Lokun position themselves at the intersection between house, techno and the broader brush strokes of percussion-driven material in this dynamic mix. A non-stop frenzy of dancefloor-certified cuts spun by a pair of future stars.

Transmission to Tisno: Manami b2b Tai Lokun

Marie Malarie is joining us for Tapes #73. . Best known for their carefully crafted sets and as a resident of one of London’s finest queer nights HOMODROP & Happy Endings at the much-loved Dalston Superstore.

Marie curates their very own own queer club nights whose focus is to bring DJs, new talents, performers and artists together to celebrate the beauty of music. As well as their residencies, they regularly seen spinning vinyl in the darkest, coolest corners of East London.

Leading Voyage 002 to Plantera is Naarm/Melbourne-based psy-digger, Alex Cicchini aka Don Chich. A phenomenal collector & selector whom we gravitated towards after discovering his 'Mystical Experiences' series. Dive deep into the realms of his extensive record collection. 

Buckle up, Let Go. This one elevates into higher states of consciousness. 

"The Pilgrimage begins in the depths of the cold sea as you float through sprawling coral reefs. You break to the surface; light fills your world as waves cascade and encapsulate you. You journey onwards to the land ahead; vegetation grows ever closer with each step. The scenery changes - water turns to murky mud and mangroves spill across the land as you trudge through the unforgiving swamp. Things turn dark as the trees above close and crows begin sing; there is no turning back you must go on. 

The swamp begins to fade and trees become dense. Wild fauna consumes the earth and flora runs rampant as tribes of animals emerge; you are just a visitor in the Rainforest. Something bites you and your senses begins to change; sound becomes colour and colour becomes sound - Ineffable and mystical experiences of the mind, body and soul.

You awake from your trance; where have you been, what have you seen and how far have you travelled? The forest is no more as the sun beats down, the trees have turned to orange sand and snaking dunes cover the barren land. The desert winds whisper your name; are you delirious or is it God? Is it salvation or is it a mirage? The only sure answer is to continue onward.

Mountains appear in the distance and you sense freedom from the hostile land; a restored faith gives you energy to push forward. You begin your ascent to higher ground in hopes to see civilization and trek the rocky and shrubbery façade. This is the hardest feat yet, your strength wains on this climb towards the peak, but something wonderful, something unexplainable carries you on. You peak the summit; ahead of you is life and civilization, behind you are the landscapes traversed on this journey. It is now time to find rest, peace and reflection before you begin the next chapter of your Pilgrimage" - Don Chich

One of the minds behind local rave crew Dog's Breakfast, Atticus aka EuDuBong offers up some uplifting, groove-laden, decompression-oriented house, tech and garage recorded live at 7am from one of the Dog's Breakfast raves back in October. Rapidly increasing in notoriety and popularity, these Naarm-based not-for-profit monthly doofs and exhibitions aim to maintain the queer foundations of rave through safe and inclusive spaces while fundraising for important causes such as the Zoe Belle Gender Collective.
