Ingin sekali menyuarakan kerinduan yang sekarat
Tak mampu terlelap tenang, justru mengisak hebat

Pula malam semakin meninggi
Dan aku tahu langitmu telah pagi
Mengingat bagaimana dulu kita berdua menghitung waktu
Berharap jarak kian terkikis oleh doa-doa kau dan aku

Kepala ini mengenang ribuan tentang 
Melukis pula ciumanmu di bibirku dengan tenang 
Hangat peluk yang terakhir kumiliki
Serta harum tubuhmu yang masih melekat di tubuh ini

Masih terlalu segar tentangmu kuingat
Sehingga kerinduan tak pernah menyentuh penat
Apalagi melupakanmu
Tidak akan berani aku!

Maaf jika malam ini namamu yang terlalu bersemangat menggoda kesedihan
Sehingga aku berangan memelukmu dalam puisi tanpa enggan
Aku hanya tidak ingin menangis
Dan kembali meminta cintamu dengan mengemis

Sebab hanya dalam puisi,
Dirimu masih kumiliki..

of the time that I talk and it pulls me apart
and sometimes you're all I have
you call me weak for that

the conversion must fit within
unreasonable hidden constraints that you have
and I go through the motions like paying your tax
and I hope that you know that you never give back

and we're joking and we're laughing for hours on end
I'm feeling warm again
we're back on track
and we're safely colliding
safely confiding
really we're trying
and then you're lying
I'm crying I'm lying
and inside you're over it
and I'm feeing worn again
you're filming reactions to your mean distractions
and showing them off to your friends

I wear a fake smile, pretend I’m ok  
But really I’m the biggest performer 
I pushed away all of my friends 
And my whole family ditched me 
There’s nobody left in my corner 
I don’t have any supporters 
No wonder I’m not moving forward

but you’re way to hard to follow 
Lately life’s been hard 
And I stay up late 
Hope I’ll wake up tomorrow

It’s the hardest pill I’ve had to swallow 

I thought that if I thought positive 
I tried to stop it 
Then good things would come to me 
I stopped writing songs
Because they all just feel like eulogies 
I try my best 
But this shit isn’t working for me
