Helang is a Chinese-American DJ/producer crafting an eclectic blend of house and techno infused with ethereal soundscapes and dynamic grooves. An outspoken artist who stands her ground, Helang's sound is an authentic expression that doesn't shy away from pushing back against convention.

Thus far, Helang has released on imprints such as HE.SHE.THEY., HILOMATIK, and Meduza’s AETERNA, with 2023 seeing the launch of her own label "Dauntless Records". She has performed at some of the most esteemed venues and festivals from The Brooklyn Mirage to Kappa Futur Festival alongside industry leaders across the broad electronic spectrum including Adam Beyer, Charlotte De Witte, Eric Prydz, Fisher, Nicole Moudaber, Seth Troxler, Camelphat etc. while her music has garnered support from the likes of Massano, Korolova, Jamie Jones, + more. She has earned placements in impactful dance music editorials including Techno Bunker, Electronic Rising and Women In Electronic with media features in Billboard, DJ Mag, Forbes, Mixmag, Beatportal, and 6am Group.

With a versatile, unrestrained approach, her productions explore the boundaries of electronic music through promiscuous sonic experimentation. Helang combines synth-wave inspired, grungy basslines topped off with sultry vocals that result in a seductive sonic synergy driving deep into her listeners' cores. While not overtly feminine, her music exudes a boldness and strength that challenges traditional paradigms in the male-dominated world of dance music.
