I wrote "Burning Hell" while looking at the Macbook Catalina wallpaper. The entire song was inspired by that photo. I imagined myself standing on the top of the island, looking out, up, and down. This is by far one of my most obscure writing experiences/stories and I absolutely love it. You never know when creativity will strike and that's the beauty of making music. This song is powerful, angsty, and VERY visual. (For fun,  google "MacBook Catalina wallpaper" and then play this song).

This song touches on my tendencies-in the past-to only go for the guys that mentally ruined me. Even though now I'm ready to be in a happy stable relationship, my heart still longs for trauma. Backwards, I know. But as you continue to get to know me and my work you will notice that's kind of a reoccurring theme. The healthy relationships I’ve had in the past never seemed to cut it for me. The men I’ve unfortunately had to dump would be literal angels and I wouldn’t understand why it didn’t feel as passionate as to the men (boys) that have destroyed me. With years and years of work on myself, I’ve learned I don’t need to be manipulated and mentally abused to be “happy” or “content” in a relationship. What I do need is a challenge. Verbal destruction and a challenge are two very different things. It’s taken me a lot of blood, sweat, and tears to understand that but hey, better now than never.
