Inevitable Inventions

His work has been broadcast and widely performed in Britain, Europe and the U.S. Prizes include the Yorkshire Arts Young Composers' Competition (1978), the MidNAG award (1979) and his work 'Elegy' for solo alto flute was one of only two UK works selected for Gaudeamus International Musikweek in the Netherlands. 'Inevitable Inventions' was awarded first prize in the 1996 Match TM Composition Award. In 1994 he was one of the featured composers at the Vale of Glamorgan Festival and he has since been regularly programmed at the festival. 

In 2006 he received the prestigious Creative Wales Award to enable him to write two large scale orchestral works.

His work ranges from a chamber opera, 'Cheap Tricks' (1984), to a large number of solos and duos written for individual performers; notably 'Inevitable Inventions' (1994) for the violinist Madeleine Mitchell, 'Music for the Cyber Cafe' for the clarinettist David Campbell, and the solo trombone piece 'Sinfonia', premiered by Barrie Webb at the 1987 Huddersfield Festival of Contemporary Music.

In contrast to the reflective, internalised nature of these pieces, recent work over the last ten years, such as the 4 string quartets, and the orchestral works 'Still Life', 'Srebrenica' and  'On the Banks of the Nile' mark a return to a much more dramatic and public language, using large scale forms and forces.

Joseph Spinella is a classically trained tenor soloist and performer, offering a diversified repertoire including classical crossover, musical theater and romantic songs. He is a tenor of the 21st Century and is best known for his charismatic live performances. He performs with orchestras such as the Israeli Philharmonic, Macedonia Radio Symphony Orchestra, Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, Princeton Symphony Orchestra, Lake Placid Sinfonietta, Sarasota Orchestra and others. He sings in six languages and his repertoire includes songs in Italian, Spanish, English, German and French.

Bio :

Issue d’une famille de musiciens, Gwendoline, vocaliste, DJ, productrice et multi-instrumentiste, a grandi dans le monde de la musique. en passant du métal, rock alternatif par le classique, le jazz ou la musique électronique (bass music, House, ambient etc.)

C’est afin de partager cet amour de la musique qu’elle est devenue DJ et productrice sous le nom de Miss Keit. Passionnée de sound design, elle perfectionne, années après années, ses compétences en mixing et mastering.

En 2011 elle s’associe avec Poison Lips pour organiser diverses soirées sur Strasbourg puis en 2018 sur Marseille, s'associant avec Frenetic et Waskpeltz.

Gwendoline is from a musician family. She grew up with music and it's in order to share her love for music that she became a producer, instruments player and dj.
she produces many genres from classical, jazz, metal, pop, indie rock to electronic music (ambient, bass music and House).

Years after Years she is developing her mixing and mastering skills.

She uses different softwares (reason, logic pro, fl, ableton, etc.).

She used to be a promoter as well in Marseille with Frenetic and Waskpeltz and in Strasbourg with Poison Lips.
