Choosing To Live

Celebrating Life, incl. myself on my Birthday, here is my contribution to this years Piano Day (29.March 2022 - https://www.pianoday.org/ ). I also want to express my gratitude to great artists like Ólafur Arnalds and Vincent Villuis (AES DANA), who by making their art available through sample libraries and VSTs to fellow composers, makes our creativity so much more easily unfolded.

Presence Is A Present - Piano Day 2024

My first self made and self produced full track in my new DAW - Reason 10. Includes use of digitized pianos, sitar, oboe, bassoon, upright bass, cello, string section, female choir, bells, air pistons, drums and some purely electronic synth for textures. Lots of gratitude to the Wolfpack and my GF for all the inspiration, encouraging me and giving feedback in the process.

There is no Light without Darkness. Starting electronic, dark and structure-less going into the life blooming Light at the end, this own composition shows how Light will spring out of Darkness, and how the Darkness defines it.

It is how we react to or feed the emotions which makes all the difference, and often acknowledging and accepting the emotion is the first important step to move on. With the track starting sad and dark, we go through the acceptance and partial release, to come back into the less dark now accepted sadness

Sparks In The Dark - Piano Day 2020

Perseverance is an often underrated masculine quality. The ability and will to keep going with a purpose, even when other things for a while will take focus, or interrupt. Humbly this describes a part of myself, and also the process of this piece of music, which has taken 15 months to finish. But here it finally is. Due to perseverance, it is there,  and I think you can hear the perseverance in the trance like pace of the whole track. Enjoy <3 O:)Updated 2020-12-04 with new 24bit remastered version
