Lovely piece! Btw: my first real Italian coffee, I drank it in Ventimiglia around 1972. To me, it was like a strong sirup at the very bottom of the cup, and I thought someone had made fun of me... Later, I learned that the Italians nicknamed the French coffee 'aqua' :)) And in France, that's how we see English coffee... Conclusion: coffee is just like music, there is some for all tastes :))

So many great elements all finding perfect synergy with each other.  I appreciate hard work like this so very much!

It has been a minute since Jeff and I have done anything wacky (I'm in the process of moving and it is a time consuming thing) so I was really glad to see this one come together.  I had sent him the main riff that makes up the song and he colored it inside and outside the lines as only he can. The result is 'The Sea Shanty One".  Listen as the Siren’s song calls throughout the journey. We ain’t fall for it though

I've always quite liked the short version (https://soundcloud.com/michele-ansani/coffee-break), using it several times especially on FB to accompany a series of good-luck pictures when the new year arrived, and I was sorry that it only lasted 45 seconds. So I worked a bit on this update in these last weeks; to get the same sounds as the short track I also took out of the coffin the old Yamaha PSR 630 (born in 1997 but still in fair health), being especially interested in playing and hearing that awful piano sound again - but strings and woodwinds are no joke either!
With that set of chords it only took a few variations to have significant atmo changes that would justify a new piece; now that it is long enough, I commit it to the ether and oblivion.

Silvia II (Lo que siento por ti)

I am an university professor of history who enjoys playing (guitar and piano/keyboard) and composing: unpretentious, just for fun. As a consequence, the most of my recordings (made with KorgD8 / Audacity and also Reaper now) are handcrafted and largely imperfect. 
Thank you in any case for stopping here to listen to something; in the description area you can find often explanatory notes or lyrics translations.

Here I found a great community musicians and a lot of good music to listen to; you can be sure that any liking, commenting or reposting by me is a consequence of careful listening to the tracks. Obviously, for this very reason, I am not interested in collecting free ‘likes’ without real listening. I will not answer any messages from possible promoters: the number of followers does not interest me in the slightest.
