With our first edition of May, we’ve had a fifty, fifty split between ambient & experiment and the more uptempo melodic sounds arrived on our desk this month, we were going to make this podcast in two halves, but decided to mix the two together giving you light and shade variations over the three hours.

On the list we have the latest releases from Ian Boddy & Markus Reuter, Vanderson, Syndromeda, Robert Rich & Markus Reuter, Baltes & Erbe and Romerium, with one track from Lomita, Jaja, Mindphaser, C J Rogers and David Parsons last album Puja, which we managed to get hold of, Mick’s a great fan of his music.
Some names not familiar to us here,  include Arovane & Porya Hatami, Carlo Celuque, Natural Life Essence & Threadbare, with a mixture of Berlin School, dark & experimental ambient excursions to Chill-out sound.
With the release of Steve Jolliffe’s new autobiography, including a copy of Cyclone, plus a short unreleased track from Tangerine Dream from 1967, Steve’s brief association with the group in Berlin, with just Edgar Froese & Klaus Schulze, we’ve included the track Bent Side Coldwalk from that album, Steve was a major influence on that release, the first one with vocals which split the fans somewhat and rumours had it Edgar hated it.

It’s good to see a few more of my female musicians again showing their different sides to electronic music.
We give you two more tracks from Malibu, whose music we liked so much featured on the compilation PAN-V-A, with her emotive vocal led soundscapes.  The rich musical meditations of lush, sensual textures & heart openings of Madhavi Devi’s and award winning pianist & composer Heidi Breyer, with the soaring passages of violinist Charlie Bisharat. 
There so much diversity in this issue, something for everyone and some that surprise you. Jarguna experimental, ethno, ambient sounds, heavy rock edge to the new project by Keith Richie, Binarywaste, a different side to Karmarius, with his collection of cinematic tracks, the serene space music of Alpha Wave Movement and one of Mick’s favourites Daniel Dorobantu of the band Thy Veils, expressive, otherworldly solo outing, in the open expansive acoustics of a monastery, with one time band member Peter Ionutescu, and many more to glide you through this edition.
Spanish duo Bios are our blast for the past, with The Lake coming from a demo sent to us in the mid nineties, not making onto their only album release.
Lab’s Cloud new to Sequences, kicks off this session with a rhythmic melodic restrained sound to propel his music.

Let's start with a bit about ourselves. We published an audio/magazine called Sequences for nearly twenty years and at the beginning of 2012 started podcasting on iTunes & more recently on Mixcloud & Soundcloud.  We publish two editions each month,  approx 3hrs in length.
I have been in Electronic music for over 50 years now, from the early experimental sounds of Karl Heinz Stockhausen, the German scene in the 70s with Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, Robert Schroeder, etc through to some of the more modern, trance, chill-out, ambient music, although we stay away from techno, house, dance and the more pop-orientated stuff.
