Since 2005 Mindshake has been the brainchild and creative outlet of famed Spanish DJ and Producer PACO OSUNA. What began as a genuine platform to promote his passion for music has now become a global force in pushing techno music culture forward. Based in Barcelona, Spain and often referred to as Paco's “second family”, Mindshake exists to support the art of like-minded contemporaries while developing a foundation for a select group of burgeoning talent throughout the world. 

Since its inception Mindshake has shared well-regarded releases by a collective of established artists balanced with a refined group of talented producers on the brink of breakout futures. From its earliest offerings by stalwarts like Paul Ritch, Alexi Delano, Sinisa Tamamovic and Paco Osuna himself, to contemporary releases by its latest core group of artists like Carlo Lio, Egbert, Fer BR, and Sebastian Xottelo, Mindshake's focus is to allow a necessary freedom of expression while promoting the discovery of the new. It is no surprise that Mindshake music has found it’s way into the DJ sets and charts of many of the industry’s top DJs.

Aside from its success as a musical outlet, Mindshake is also determined to strengthen its mission by providing it’s fans with a first-class experience in underground techno music culture through its many Label Showcases and Events featured throughout the World. Christian Smith is one of the world’s leading exponents of techno, both as a DJ and producer he is always bold and innovative. With his output in recent years it is hard to imagine a list of prolific producers without his name towards the top. He has been at the top of his game for over two decades with his trademark groovy techno.

Although Swedish by birth, Christian spent most of his childhood years in Frankfurt, Germany which no doubt played an unexpected role in determining his musical tastes from a young age. After spending time in the US studying, Christian moved to Sao Paulo, Brazil playing the best clubs in the city and surrounding regions, where he still loves to play today and continues to have a very big following.

In 1995 he started his label Tronic, since then it has dominated the charts with releases from Christian himself and the likes of ANNA, Enrico Sangiuliano, Paco Osuna, Drunken Kong, Wehbba, Ramon Tapia, and more. The label has been the top selling techno label in the world according to Beatport, and is soon to celebrate its 500th release.
Tronic also has a weekly show which is now syndicated to over 100 stations worldwide, their 500th show was celebrated with special guest Carl Cox and now in 2022, they are already fast approaching the 600th episode.

Christian has dominated the charts and DJ’s playlists with a steady flow of releases on many high profile labels like Drumcode, Filth On Acid, Trick, Symbolism, Bedrock, and Tronic. His last EP on Tronic reached #1 spot on Beatport in both Techno and Electro in January of 2024. During the pandemic, Christian had a weekly Tronic Thursday stream which has reached over 10M people. On the remix front, Christian has recently reworked a track by UK hip hop superstar "Stormzy". His music is regularly featured on Spotify's biggest playlists and Christian is currently enjoying a big boost in his career.

Christian also ventured into his own branded night in Ibiza at mega club Eden. His first season on the Island in 2019 had 15 consecutive weeks of events and was a huge success. Christian was also invited to host Tronic events all over the world from Tokyo, Detroit, Los Angeles, and London amongst many others.

As a DJ, Saeed’s performances are renowned for his technical abilities and precision. He effortlessly weaves and morphs tracks together into a seamless blend of house and techno. In testimony to his worldwide appeal, Saeed was nominated one of America’s Top 100 DJ’s, entering America’s Best Top 50 DJ Poll six years in a row (DJ Times Magazine U.S.A). Beatport nominate Saeed Younan for best tech-house track (Beatport award). He was also nominated for Best Breakthrough DJ at the 2003 Dance Star Awards. These milestone events gave him the global recognition and provided the opportunity to push his sound further and captivating audiences worldwide. Saeed has headlined at prominent clubs across the globe in exotic locations such as Ibiza, Egypt, Bulgaria, Dubai, Miami, Amsterdam, Tokyo, Madrid, Russia with the list going on and on.
As a producer, Saeed is currently entering the busiest period of his career. Not only is he playing at different destinations on a weekly basis, but he also stepped up his production and remix work. He's had numerous top 10 singles on Beatport, traxsource, and other reputable digital download services; released six mixed albums; and worked with some of the biggest dance labels in the industry.
Born in Iraq but living in Washington DC since the early 80's, Younan grew up listening to a variety of ethnic music. As a result, his musical sound resonates with percolating beats and sonic grooves. His production have been dubbed “timeless” by top DJs and even referred to as a “change of heart for dance music.” His vision is clear, yet simply stated: “I just want people to enjoy my music as much as I enjoy playing it for them.”
Saeed Younan is certainly a busy man with many jobs, but armed with his fierce work ethic and an unlimited passion for music, he welcomes each new challenge. "It's a lot of juggling," he admits, “but I'm used to it, I've done it all my life. I'm excited about the future, about my label and my production work. I wake up every morning and ask, what is going to keep me going? What can I do that nobody else has done yet? What's next?”

A true artist in every sense of the word, Layton Giordani stands firmly as one of the most popular tastemakers of techno’s new school, with his pioneering musical vision serving as a contemporary voice for the younger generation. Spending years acquiring knowledge from musical greats, the 28 year old possesses a wealth of experience far beyond his years and has now undeniably earned his rank in the upper echelon of techno. With a repertoire that knows no bounds, the dexterous New Yorker has explored a new dimension of scope with each passing year, nurturing a monumental discography that echoes staunch dedication to his craft. Giordani’s palpable successes can be largely credited to his extensive stock of knowledge, garnered through an insatiable work ethic and years spent earning his keep in the industry. Solely focused on his passion for music from the age of just 13, Giordani’s path forever changed at 19 years old after watching Danny Tenaglia perform live at Pacha NYC. Deeply inspired by the formative experience, Layton began to master his craft behind the decks, landing a pivotal residency at Brooklyn’s Output NY that would consequently steam-roll his career into quick maturity. Thanks to the faith they instilled in him, Layton turned heads and began making a name for himself through his deft touch and sharp ear. Seeking further guidance from another of the long-standing greats, Giordani spent countless hours under the mentorship of Adam Beyer, honing his composition talents and studying the cardinal cuts of techno’s rich history. The affiliation resulted in Giordani’s first releases under the Swedish maven’s storied imprints; an EP titled Unspoken on Truesoul followed shortly by Rivington, his input to Drumcode’s celebrated A-Sides series. News of the untapped star’s fresh sensibilities circulated and in 2017, Giordani erupted onto the scene with his aptly-named debut album contribution to Drumcode in the form of Where It Begins. The 12-track LP served as the first seismic indication of his capabilities and subsequently received critical acclaim from artists, new fans and industry specialists alike.

The BPM Festival, which stands for “Bartenders, Promoters, Musicians” was created in 2008 as a post-New Year’s gathering of industry professionals and has grown to a 70,000+ global gathering of DJs, producers, revelers and industry professionals; a must for any music lover with a discerning taste for quality underground dance music. Over the last decade, BPM parties were hosted both day and night at multiple venues. In 2017, The BPM Festival announced expansions with events being held in September in Portimão, Portugal and Tel Aviv, Israel. Newly announced, BPM returns for its winter edition in its new home of Tamarindo, Costa Rica from January 15-19, 2020.
