New kid on the block, J-RØD, is one of the resident DJ's born from the EXTRA! EXTRA! collective in Cape Town. 

Inspired by the Deep House and Techno festival circuit dance floors he has frequented in SA and abroad, J-RØD has turned his passion for electronic music into his latest creative venture. With his creative background firmly in Film & TV, J-RØD has always been a lover of Live Entertainment and the Arts. 

His particular style is eclectic in nature with his roots firmly in Deep House and Techno sub genres. Whether it's a downtempo daytime set filled with Slow House, Lofi or Pop Electro at a funky groove bar; a playful and sassy Deep House mix of Detroit House, Breakbeat, Soulfunk, Disco and Tech House tunes or a dark Ambient / Dub Techno party, he is sure to bring the magic!
