The musical background of these two guys is just very different. Everything began with an oldschool hip hop and crossover. In the middle of the 90’s they found their love for house and techhouse music. After moving on as DJ’s and having some solo releases the young and talented guys decided to create THE GLITZ in 2007. There they started with three members - but now they’re down to two now. The first EP “White Line” was a huge success. Surprisingly THE GLITZ found themselves in many DJ playlists and other electronic music charts around the world. Their follwong releases “Chatter” and “Tenga” tie in with the success of “White line”. THE GLITZ have a few releases waiting in the start blocks. So you can get ready for next singles called “Silbersee”, “Last Panther” and “Red Leaves”. Labels like Material, Ideal, Voltage Musique and Pocketgame support THE GLITZ and their kind of electronic music. The keen sense for the right sound at the right moment makes THE GLITZ not only convincing as producer but also as a DJ-Team in the clubs. People love their energetic sets, but also to see their passion behind the decks is worthwhile is the motivation of this two guys.

A lot has happened in the last 20 years of dance music, but one constant has been Get Physical right at the sharp end of the scene. The label has become a globally recognised symbol of quality, renowned for its always varied and vital house output. Forming the backbone of the label's vast catalogue is the influential in-house DJ mix series, Body Language. It is a snapshot of exactly where the underground is at and has been assembled by tastemakers such as Azari & III, Catz ‘N Dogz, Dixon, DJ Hell, Francesco Tristano, Nôze and of course label-founders Booka Shade, DJ T., and M.A.N.D.Y..

Next to that there has been a constant stream of innovative, dance-floor ready singles, crossover club classics, seminal remixes and a number of standout artist albums. The label has always stayed true to its house roots, but with a rich array of influences taken from the worlds of disco, deep, tech and melodic house. Along the way, Get Physical´s core artists have been joined by red hot new talents including Alinka, Thandi Draai, PAUZA, Yulia Niko, Birds Of Mind, CIOZ and Monkey Safari. There have also been carefully considered forays into thriving house music scenes in Africa, Brazil, Cuba, Croatia and India: dedicated compilations and EPs have highlighted those region's most exciting new talents and given them a global platform. 

The name says it all: Get Physical tracks could hardly be more moving and corporeal. It was true in 2002, and it will be true in 2025 and beyond.

Kuriose Naturale's Upcoming Gigs

Altbewährt und trotzdem irgendwie neu. Nein, als Newcomer würde man das Berliner Duo Kuriose Naturale nicht bezeichnen. Seit Mitte der neunziger Jahre sind die beiden als Deph und TanaThan unabhängig voneinander unterwegs um sich  zehn Jahre später im Jahr 2006 zu Kuriose Naturale zu vereinen. Auch wenn die Kollaboration eher zufällig bei einem Ping Pong Set auf dem Soundtropolis Festival entstand, waren sie sich schnell über eine gemeinsame Zukunft einig. Und so fand man seine Residenz in der Berliner Ritter Butzke, von wo aus sie seither in die Clubs und auf die Festivals der Republik starten. Nach diversen Gigs im deutschsprachigen Raum und im osteuropäischen Ausland durften sie dieses Jahr das ersten mal den südamerikanischen Kontinent beehren. Musikalisch lassen sich die beiden nichts unterstellen, denn sobald man sie in eine Schublade steckt beweisen sie gerne mal das Gegenteil. Gibt man ihnen die Zeit, so spielen sie auch zehn Stunden am Stück und bei solch ausschweifenden Sets musste schon der Strom gezogen werden um der Sache ein Ende zu setzen. Zitat: „Techno hat mit kurz nichts zu tun und für Musik braucht man Geduld, dass ist eine Tugend die leider vielen fehlt.“
