I am grateful to Frank Vignola and his backing track since I do not access to a live rhythm section.  I created my piano arrangement on my Yamaha P-80 Electronic keyboard.

This is another song with which I have used multiple tracks to create a "duet with myself". The song bears a 1920 copyright and first publishing attributes the lyrics to Malvin Schonberger and the music to John Schonberger.  Paul Whiteman's version was an eleven-week No. 1 hit in the United States, which stayed 20 weeks in the charts, and sold in excess of two million copies.

As I was creating this arrangement of "I'll Fly Away", I kept thinking of the magnificence of birds in flight.  As a wildlife photographer, I have attempted to capture the beauty of these creatures as they flew in front of my camera.  I have created a video entitled "Come Fly with Me" which can be see at:

My goal with this site is to present an eclectic approach to piano, instrumental, and vocal music with a focus on religious music and the American Songbook.  I have incorporated various musical styles and venues into my music including traditional, gospel, contemporary, classical, pop, and mainstream jazz.  It is my hope that listeners will be able to identify with one or more of the musical styles and enjoy my arrangements and compositions.  I am also a nature/wildlife photographer and hope that my music reaches a diverse audience just as biodiversity is a theme of nature and wildlife.
