These are simple recordings of songs written/created and recorded in the moment or within a couple of hours. These are mostly old tracks. Some of them actually capture a song in the making. What you hear is a part of the process of creating a song. It is the pure and straight songwriting that I like so much :)

One and one

This track was recorded on the couch of my living room with a mic and a plugged in acoustic guitar. This is the original unmixed recording.

After recording this Dutch song I decided to make an album Summer 2003. The hard copy was available during a couple of years. Today it is still available as a download https://mikespring.bandcamp.com/album/verlangen-album-dutch

Hi guys

As my fresh studio computer broke down twice while still inspired to record something new -  I decided to do an analogue recording. It is a simple acoustic song - written spontaneously for my love <3 
The recorder is an old Tascam four track analogue tape desk. Since I only had an old notebook at hand and my studio software not available I downloaded a free trial version of - IZOTOPE  OZONE 6 standard edition - to make some small adjustments mixing the analogue original.
