I don’t know how I got here, but I’m glad I did

A soundtrack and score I composed and recorded for a film by Gaby Sahhar entitled, ‘Truth and Kinship’. It was featured in the 2020 Russian Bienale, and was screened as part of the BFI London Film Festival 2020.

I experimented and explored lots of new sounds and synths for this soundtrack - Think Hans Zimmer's Blade Runner evolving into Timpani and Trombone driven Orchestral Dance, Techno, and Trance music.

Here is my Soundscape I was commissioned to write for Dior. 
It was used to set the ethereal mood in the entrance to their Dior Tears Installation and Collection Pop-Up in Soho, London. (8th - 13th July 2023)

Shark (Donsurf Remix)

Written and performed for Claire Barrow's SS16 presentation at the ICA.  The audio is excerpts from the  two hour performance.

Homemade kinetic instruments were played by the models and processed with DSP and mechanically by specially constructed metallic resonators. The musicians improvised with prepared piano, saxophone, and Rishi Shah's homemade synthesisers and sequencers.

Leo Justi - Heavy Baile Mixtape II

Audio excerpt from Hope, Joy, Youth, Peace, Rest, Life, Dust, Ashes, Waste, Want, Ruin, Despair, Madness, Death, Cunning, Folly, Words, Wigs, Rags, Sheepskin, Plunder, Precedent, Jargon, Gammon, and Spinach.

A spectacle centred around a Gay Pride float traveling up Walthamstow Market towards the town square conceived by Hannah Quinlan & Rosie Hastings. The artists screened a video work accompanied by a musical score composed and performed live by Owen Pratt and Milo McKinnon. The score presents a queer music history, bringing together musical genres including Disco, House, High NRG, Techno and Pop. There will be live performances by singer-song writer Jesse Hultberg, founding member of 1980’s New York based group 3 Teens Kill 4 and dancer Ted Rodgers. The commission is both a celebration and a critique of contemporary Pride culture, exploring the tension between queer subcultures and the gay mainstream.
