ShnugDub is the psychedelic dub act of Courtney Barends. Growing up in Johannesburg South Africa, she draws influence from 90s hip-hop, drum ‘n bass and dubstep. Her involvement in the Cape Town psytrance community for the last 13 years has led to a deep exploration of each psychedelic genre known to humankind, allowing her to combine dubby psychedelic sounds with broken rhythms, and crunchy twisted basslines ranging from dub to mid-tempo grooves.

mi primer contacto con la música fue desde muy pequeño, (7años)en la familia, con tíos y primos músicos, ahí con ellos aprendí el amor alas percusiones, tocando tumbas , timbal, y guiro..desde 8 años comienzo mi colección de cassettes, prodigy, molotov, dance club, caifanes, G.M.S. Siempre sonando y soñando algo,
