Romain's rootless background, aspires him to dream of a borderless cosmos where everyone dances in harmony to the rhythm of any melody.

A key innovator in the Hong Kong & Asian music scene for the past 12 years, Romain has spearheaded numerous fresh concepts on the Island, such as Roofest (first rooftop festival), Fauve Radio (first full-time award-winning radio station), The Pharmacy (first dance music-oriented record store). And if that's not enough, he has also been organising monthly parties under the name ROAM and helping build the Shi Fu Miz Festival by bringing international artists such as Kink, Jayda G, Ben UFO, Move D, Habibi Funk, Demuja and many more. 

His Boiler Room debut during the Shi Fu Miz Festival 2019 has really marked the beginning of his full-time DJ/Producer career. Now launching his production career with releases on his own imprint Fauve Records as well as on other labels in every corner of the world, such as Fantastic Voyage (LA), Mamie's Records (Paris), Eskimo Recordings (Belgium), Boots & Legs (Australia), Hard First (Lyon) and many more... 

And only in his first 6 months, his music has been played by some of the biggest acts in the game such as DJ Harvey, The Black Madonna, Gerd Janson, Horse Meat Disco, Skatebärd, Lauer, Tornado Wallace, Lipelis, Orpheu The Wizard, Kamma & Masalo... and in some of the most iconic venues such as Berghain/Panorama Bar, Robert Johnson, Dekmantel, Igloo Festival, Pikes and more.

About Summer Smurf : " Music for me is a translation of emotions, in this particular track, the emotion that is portrayed related to the uncertainty of this summer festive season. Hence why the track switches from hopeful frequencies to darker tones of disappointments but then back to joyful melodies towards the end, because deep down, I hope that all that is happening blows over after summer, call me crazy."

‘Ghost of Arms’, the dark synth-pop jewel from @cursesforever & @terr_music is about to get the remix treatment thanks to an exciting line up!

Italian born, Florence-based @matisaxx is injecting a more than efficient trancy and bumping prog house energy into the original, while staying true to its emotional side. A glorious version tailored made for euphoric hands-in-the-air, get-lost-in-the-moment scenes in the clubs.

Paris-born composer, orchestrator and Musique Concretist @wladimirschall delivers a beautiful and fascinating stripped-down interpretation.
Built around an infectious hazy melody and ethereal guitar chords, in that melancholic setting, Terr's reflections on lost love resonates even deeper.

South Korean producer and dj @shubostar speeds up the pace a bit with her synth-driven, Italo inspired remix. Now draped in her signature cosmic sound, Terr vocals are more moving than ever, Curses soothing guitar action are floating all around, all of it invoking the bitter-sweet melancholy of a reflective night ride.

Franz Scala’s sets are as diverse as the music he curates as label head of Slow Motion.
Weaving smoothly between Italian Dance, Psychedelic Disco and Proto House, Franz quickly turns the dance floor into a vignette-tainted retro nostalgia rave fueled only by his music. 
Born in Italy and now a resident of Berlin for a decade Franz has his roots in noise rock and electronica but was led by the record collectors passion into acquiring a taste for modern and not so modern dance floor music.
He frequently inspires dancers in clubs all over Europe with his eclectic blend of spacey House, New Wave, Italo and Acid speckled with hints of Electro and Chicago House. 
Aside from producing on his own imprint, he has releases on World Unknown, Bordello A Parigi, Bahnsteig 23, Tusk Wax, Mechatronica or Discodromo´s Cocktail d’Amore Music.
Franz is link to many events around the german capital such as the monthly Wrong Era, Italian Dance Wave and Italorama night in Panorama Bar, Magic Waves or New Dance Fantasy Festival.
Beside long time collaboration with Sameheads he is regular dj at Griessmuhle and Salon zur Wilden Renate. In 2013 he joined Dimitri SoEmotional in the “Studio Luce” project

Roswell Brothers is a Mexican/Chilean project hailing from the underground Rock and Trance scenes. An electronic Rock fusion with high doses of progressive Disco. (DJ Mag Spain | # 123 | May 2021).

X-PRESSINGS #020: Peek-A-Boo (Roswell Brothers Edit)

We start a new year by welcoming for the first time Mexican duo Damo Mementto teaming up with Anna Forest.
Combining indie dance and electronic rock, ‘Futturo Desconocido’ is nostalgic and, as the name suggests, ‘futuristic’, taking the audience on a deep and cosmic adventure.
The original is a collaboration with producer Anna Forest and has been remixed with two of the monster names in indie dance, Damon Jee and Rigopolar.

The track gets off to a strong start with a psychedelic base intertwined with hypnotic synths and distorted guitar riffs merging perfectly with Anna Forest’s poetic and evocative Vocals. Blending romanticism, cosmic imagery, and spiritual empowerment, leading the audience to a mesmerizing drop


Damon Jee raises the tempo with his version of Futturo Desconocido, keeping the vocals but bringing in the drums and reworking the original into a dark, dancefloor-oriented work, with convoluted arpeggios and echoing vocals in a unique remake of the original. 

Born in Mexico but based in New York, Rigopolar's mental remix of Futturo Desconocido will take you on a magical journey through time and space with its shimmering, arpeggiated synths, while the deeper cowbells will have you tapping your feet.

Melopee welcomes "Furotica", the latest musical project from Furor Exotica.  

"Rebirth Is Hardwired" takes listeners on a mesmerizing cosmic journey, blending a thunderous bassline with sultry, synthetic leads and pads that elevate the dancefloor straight into the stars. The track’s enigmatic vocals add an undeniably perfect '80s flair, making it irresistibly danceable.  

One of the giants of the psychedelic Italo-disco scene, Franz Scala, joins the project with a masterful remix. Staying true to the original’s essence, he infuses it with a nostalgic, enchanting, and emotionally rich dimension.  

Next up, wave rider Kay-Chi brings his sharp talent to the track, adding a deeper, body-focused energy that reshapes the piece with finesse.

The main track of the EP comes in two versions: one as a cheeky nod to 90s radio pop with playful hooks, the other as an extended dub built for the dancefloor. 

Catchy vocals, driving bass, uplifting piano stabs, and dancefloor euphoria collide in this high-energy future classic, blending saeuer’s Techno and House roots with Freudenthal’s Dark Disco touch as well as Hey Cabrera’s top-tier Italo Disco expertise. 


The Extended Dub opens with a choir reminiscent of "Blue Monday," setting a hypnotic, dreamy atmosphere. As the track progresses, it transitions into an ecstatic euphoria, driven by a dazzling piano hook. Further echoing New Order, the Punk House Version drifts into an 80s Italo realm, layering a fuller arrangement with chorusing guitar and an airy vocal chant. Bubs‘ take of the Punk House Version pushes into neo-Italo territory with synth sirens announcing its arrival before locking into the track’s catchy main melody. A massive snare and hitting toms drive the rhythm, keeping the energy high and the momentum sharp. Built for the dancefloor, this version dials up the intensity while staying true to its melodic core.
