I wrote this in a good mood. That’s the irony.
Sometimes, when you’re far enough from the pain, you can finally speak the truth without shaking. This wasn’t about losing earbuds — it was about losing trust, and what it feels like when someone takes something they know brings you peace, and they do it anyway.

The voice in this song isn’t angry. It’s tired. It’s calm in a way that’s almost frightening — like someone who’s done explaining and is just watching to see what you do next. I didn’t want a scream. I wanted a confession disguised as stillness.

This was my way of writing a threat without making one. And it made me laugh while I did it, because sometimes, you can burn someone alive just by writing the truth with a straight face.

Hello friends, thank you for being so patient as we've been working hard while also experiencing a profound and tragic loss of a dear family member. It's been extremely overwhelming, but, we have diligently been working on a lot of things since January and slowly have gotten back to it, for purpose of keeping sane. I'm very excited and pleased to say we have a lot of music, demos, acoustic versions of songs, new versions of old demos, ect, that will be coming out over the next months, that hopefully will be enjoyed by someone out there. 🔻 Personal Reflection
There are songs you write to feel something — and songs you write because you’re already feeling too much. PRESSED came from a place I don’t visit often in the daylight. It’s the part of me that remembers the power struggles in intimacy, the blurred lines between control and comfort. There were nights where I didn’t know if I was trying to connect or just trying not to fall apart. This track carries that tension.
Every distorted vocal line in here — “You play, or you get played,” — that was my reality at one point. The person I wanted most was also the person who made me question everything. I wasn't writing a club song. I was writing about the echo in my chest after I let someone in who only knew how to take.
But I also realized something: desire doesn’t make you weak. Admitting you want someone — really want them — can be the strongest thing you do. Especially when it’s on your own terms.
This track is for every queer person who’s navigated attraction, danger, and identity all in the same night.
