A DJ, writer, designer, and event organizer, Lychee runs Spontaneous Affinity, a monthly mix and interview series, annual zine, and occasional event platform focused on how dancefloors have shaped artists. Currently based in Brooklyn, they grew up as a DJ and frequent dancefloor inhabitant in the clubs, backyards, and basements of Boston. With sets ranging from dreamy sunrises to corporeal peak time techno to ambient explorations, they gravitate most toward psychedelic, prismatic techno - sometimes escaping, sometimes transcending, and sometimes connecting back to the body.

Founded by Denis Yurgens



Velmondo is the solo project of multi-instrumentalist producer and Barcelona based DJ Arnau Obiols. His debut EP 'Moongazing' appeared on Hivern Discs iin 2019 drawing inspiration from early forms of electronic music from the 70s, wether it is dub, krautrock, industrial, ambient, post-punk, to conjure enigmatic atmospheres through raw and primitive sounds.In January 2020 he released the EP 'Mad Honey' along the Swedish duo MLiR, on Prins Thomas' label Internasjonal, gaining support from the likes of Andrew Weatherall, Red Axes or Roman Flügel, amongst others. Distilling a unique approach to acid, trance and tribal influences, the esoteric techno single 'Infinity' arrived in June 2020 through Nitsa Traxx, including a remix by Marving & Guy on the flipside.
Velmondo also shares a project with John Talabot called Mioclono that debuted with the track 'Center of Things' in the Hivern Discs compilation 'Fragments'.

How Does It Feel

Recording of my live set from Room 3, Saturday 6th July 2019! I built this set from scratch for the festival and thoroughly enjoyed the process! To play at Freerotation has been a huge milestone for me which I had dreamt about since first attending 6 FR ago... The energy in that room was like nothing I have ever experienced before and I think the recording captures it well! Hope you enjoy! x
