Sand Bone Whale Feather

Song written to be the theme music for the play 'Street Scene', which I did the sound design for at SCC in 2005. Purposely antiquated; the story took place in 1929, and I was going for the old phonograph effect to keep in concept with the play. The tune was named for the director, 'e.e. moe'. This song helped me win the Kennedy Center's American College Theater Festival 2006 national award for 'Excellence in Sound Design'; fellowship @ the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center ensued.

As Octobuse: Semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition. Octobuse also featured in The Guardian's music section.
