SHMN unveils his latest musical offering with the release of the mesmerizing "Sinking" EP, featuring a stellar remix by Undercatt. The EP, now available on Fayer, showcases SHMN's distinctive sound and creative prowess, drawing inspiration from the likes of Ry X, Who Made Who, and more.

The title track, "Sinking," serves as the EP's centerpiece, opening with a soul-stirring guitar riff and accompanied by a gentle acoustic bass that sets the foundation for the composition. Ethereal atmospheres gradually envelop the listener, inviting them to immerse themselves in a sonic landscape adorned with emotive piano chords, melancholic guitar phrases, intricate percussion, and lush vocals. The result is a profound connection with the song, as it unfolds a rich narrative through its storytelling elements.

"Circle of Life," another gem within the EP, takes on an emotive downtempo approach. While continuing the sonic journey initiated by the title track, this piece follows a song arrangement leaning towards casual listening. Its evocative melodies, paired with SHMN's signature production style, create a seamless fusion of emotions and musical intricacies.

The EP also features a remix by Undercatt, adding a fresh perspective to the already captivating "Sinking." Known for their unique take on electronic music, Undercatt brings their mastery to the table, reimagining the original track with their own sonic palette.

Mark Hoffen is a project founded in 2019 by the French based producer.

The freedom of expression he discovered in the electronic music scene entailed a true revolution of his inspirations. 
He is developing a deep but complex techno that quickly stood out for the quality of its sound design and the complementarity of its elements. The mood and emotions always lean towards melancholia.

Released now on imprints like Afterlife with his track « Life » or Siamese and Atlant, his music is constantly growing and changing from a melodic to a more darker sound.
