I created this page for the posting of older Breaks DJ mixes. It is not intended to infringe anybody's copyright as an artist or owner of the mixes, just a place to share some of the best and rarest Breakbeat DJ Mixes from yesteryear.

Pushing phat, driving broken beat sounds for over two decades, DiiSTORTiiON has had plenty of experience playing at clubs and gigs across Australia and abroad. Having multiple national tours under his belt and having shared the stage regularly with some of the biggest names in broken beat music, DiiSTORTiiON is no stranger to the decks.

His original music has received strong support from all over the broken beat community, including the mighty Crystal Method, who have used his music in many of their live and promo mixes. This led them to invite him to do a guest mix on their “Community Service” Radio show on SiriusXM.

On the Djing front, DiiSTORTiiON has shared the stage all over Australia and overseas with some of dance music’s biggest names including – Noisia, Chase & Status, Netsky, Pretty Lights, Krafty Kuts, Stanton Warriors and many more.
With no broken beat genre off the cards, expect DiiSTORTiiON to keep pushing big electronic sounds for years to come.

The Rogue Element is the pseudonym of Ben Medcalf and James Tomlinson also known as Call Me T releasing music on the infamous LOT49 imprint.
 
2013 sees the rebirth of The Rogue Element and the introduction of Call Me T. A joining of forces working together closely to bring a fresh forward thinking attitude to modern Techno.
 
Ben, the original member of The Rogue Element certainly needs no introduction. An international Dj, Breakspoll award winning producer and has released on labels such as Skint, Exceptional and Fat Records. He has remixed and collaborated for the likes of Fat Boy Slim, Lee Coombs, Krafty Kuts, Stanton Warriors, Soul of Man and the list goes on.
 
James known to others as Call Me T is a solo artist in his own right and has been recognised by artists and clubbers alike for outstanding technical ability, set building and fantastic track selection. In just a short period of time James has played at many  of the nations top venues, festivals and has shared the bill with the likes of James Zabeila, Nic Fancuilli, Derick Carter, Darren Emerson, Junior Jack & Kid Creme,  Meat Katie, Lee Coombs, Vandal and Evil Nine to name just a few.
 
While Ben's qualities are within the studio James' lie behind the decks keeping the art of Djing on the dance floor, making them a perfectly balanced duo set to send shock waves through the electronic music scene.

Binary Quartet is a solo project by Mario Majkic from Osijek, Croatia.


Mark Pember (AKA Meat Katie) has released three artist albums to date.

As a DJ, Mark has compiled and mixed compilations for Bedrock Breaks, Fabric Live (21) & ‘Sessions Vol 8.1' for Ministry of Sound.

Released Music on R&S, Kingsize, Bedrock, Yoshitoshi, Mo Wax, Toolroom, Global Underground, SAW recordings, to name but a few.

Remixed such artists as James Zabiela, D-Nox & Beckers, Deep Dish, Lee Coombs, Stephane K, Phil Kieran, U.N.K.L.E 

He has run (as a label manager/A+R & recording artist) the highly influential LOT49 & Whole 9 Yards (W9Y) imprints.

In June 2013 Mark started a Podcast series ‘Lowering The Tone’ which in 2016 morphed into a Progressive Techno Label.

He now records exclusively for Lowering The Tone and is currently working on his fourth artist album, he still hosts Lowering The Tone podcast & also co-hosts ‘Setting The Tone’ (Podcast) with Ben Coda.
