The anonymous and up-and-coming Weiss returns for the release of the highly anticipated ‘Weiss City Vol 2’.

Bursting onto the scene earlier this year, the illusive Weiss has already captured the imagination of producers, press and the public alike with his inspiring take on old school house. On the next Light my Fire release, ‘Try’, Borka & The Gang serve up three thunderous tech house tracks that marry grooving garage drums, funky bass-lines and areal synths. Little is known about the mysterious Borka and his gang as they prefer to let their productions speak for themselves, yet their maiden release hints at some serious studio knowledge. Title track ‘Try’ is a straight up party bomb, consisting of cheerful key stabs and a tough, tech-driven bass-line framed by jacking percussive elements. Next up, ‘Lose Track’ seems built for a more laid-back mood as the looped vocal hook and deep sub-bass are lifted by elevating synths. Lastly, ‘Ouh’ is classic 2-step with its grooving rhythm and slightly melancholic vibe.

"Robosonic has been a pivotal part of Off Recordings roster, their releases being highly expected every time and usually meaning instant dancefloor melting magic. With a hip hop and techno background and adding many frequent flyer miles with worldwide gig schedule, the pair shows no sign of stopping. This time is no exception, Cord and Sacha get back in their creative roll of sample wizardry to provide two mouth watering jams. They once again prove their love for organic sounds and reivindicate the use of the turntable as an instrument, adding that old-school vibe to their trademark beats.

“Macho Madness" is quite a trip, sweet rhodes over a bouncy bassline, great sample work adding guitars and an insane speech. As always, breakdowns are intense and its impossible not to dance to the groove!

For the second track, Robosonic joins another Off family team, Mat.Joe and together they go deep into their hip hop influences again working the samples as only they could, a little disco flavor, a driving bass...All the ingredients are there for another instant classic and a respectful shout out to Detroit producer legend J Dilla, who left the game too early. Leena032 - Timo Garcia "Hypnotic"

It's Timo Garcia's turn on the unrestrained sub label of Mobilee - Leena Music. Having recently been exploring a downtempo direction under his 'T_Mo' alias, this release on Leena kicks the doors down to announce Timo Garcia's return to the limelight.

Wasting no time to set the tone, 'Hypnotic' races out appearing to head for the big rooms that Timo is known for. However, a drone voice hints that not all is what it seems - a low frequency oscillation slams down and at once you're transported back to a 90s Leeds warehouse rave that reveals Timo's true roots.

'Zoot' is twisted house at its best. Taut drums provide a solid foundation whilst echoing pulses call and respond like submarine radar pings. A longing saxaphone and distant piano keys add emotive colour, but it's the bait-and-switch of basslines that will turn heads and move bodies.

'Ode to Chicago' triggers a million memories from Chicago and beyond. The jackhammer kickdrum, trancey lead synth, fluttering claps and majestic pads somehow flick an automatic switch in your mind to your first important moment with dance music and the seratonin release that changed you forever. Simple elements combine to create something universal.

Three tracks that represent flashpoints in underground dance music - this is a standout release in Timo Garcia's impressive discography.

The MOB is back…

This time round we welcome Greek producer CJ Jeff with his percussion laden tech house production, “Huelas”. The rolling drums are casually interrupted by echoed vocal pumps that break up the track for that extra pulse on the dance floor.

Next up, Timo Garcia graces us with a new track for the MOB after his last release with us, “Atomic”, back in 2012. “Run For Cover” takes a deeper approach and squelches through to a huge filtered synth line that is sure to capture the attention of clubber’s worldwide 

Another new head to the Skint umbrella, Spanish mainstay Jorge Montia closes the EP with “The Family Tree”. The coupling of underlying piano patterns, latin influenced guitar riffs and brass lines rounds this off as a superb addition to the MOB.

Half a decade together. OFF Recordings has proudly reached the 5 year birthday mark and we are happy to share our celebrations with our loyal fans with an extended tour and a very exciting release project. We tangled our core acts and asked them to work on some special collaborations to spice up our evergrowing catalogue. A perfect family picture consisting of our amazing roster of talent, the ones that will be carrying our unique party flavor all over the world on this series of parties. 

First comes a 3-way collaboration with our label boss André Crom teaming up with breakthrough producer Chi Thanh and vocal wizard Kevin Knapp to deliver "While You Stand" a deep house bass-driven tune with dominating rap vocals and clever synth arrangements to create a hip-house dancefloor vibe.

Next in line we got the praised duo Leftwing & Kody getting in the studio with another couple of brilliant creators, Kruse & Nurnberg, to launch "Turning", a bass-house killer packed with diva vocal snippets and all the ingredients to become a stand out track in any house mix.

Another important part of our family are the guys from Robosonic and Mat.joe...who get back together after their great "Got Game" release and send us yet another fantastic bass-house inspired song, with cool vocal sampling and an infectious flow.

To close up the package, hit-maker Purple Disco Machine and Teenage Mutant pair up to produce "Little Treehouse", a more percussive number, with a great groove, hip hop stabs and string and an overall mysterious yet dancefloor friendly vibe that will sure drive everyone mad...
